it will be gareth it will be.

props jesse and gareth.

well i went to the horse races yesterday with my posse, both me and jade both had a hangover from playing cards the night before, i had passed out, and we both puked before we went. I was okay once i got my first jug of beer and chardonay. Within 3 hours security was telling me i was not allowed any more alcohol and threatening to kicked me out. Lucky my new zealand friend natalie talked some sense into them, and i was left alone drinking water. about 30 mins later, jade had passed out, it was pretty scary, we had to call an ambulance, and then i sat up at the hospital for like 3 hours. Jade is okay, he just had way too much too drink. I think i am going to have a hangover for months.

Me and jade had a session on friday night:

jade hit:
DLO
8 consec legover
4 consec pickups
8 consec mirage
5consec mirage flipside

I hit:
symp mirage>legover rpt by 4
hit smear>pixielegover rpt and dropped on the last contact ducking clip>diving clip rpt in the same guiltess run.

peace

Jade is awesome. He shouldnt drink so much. lol

I played OK today. My guiltless runs were smooth and long. footed blurry drifter and hit toedrifter>dlo>toedrifter>osis. didnt have the right set for the last dlo. I hit pixiewhirl>blurry whirl and had bsos pixie ss whirl off the foot. There was some other stuff but the main of it was long runs.

I played pretty crap today (again  ).
I'm going to go into Southbank tomorrow night for a session. I'll prolly just do whatever - maybe try and school some.
Right now... this very moment... I'm thinking about taking some time off, from the game. Have a break.
My knee is still giving me issues, only now it's a different sort of pain!? I go to the specialist on friday, so... I guess we'll see what he says. (probably nothing :(

It comes down to tonight.
I don't really feel like playing, so I'm just going to school stuff.
But I don't really feel like doing that, either.
I'm really thinking about stopping for a while. Probably for a long while.
I'm just not feeling motivated.

I'll see how I go tonight.

Alex, make sure you come for a long time in december. Maybe a week, so we can hang out.

Shredded at school, all around the school, out the back yard of a friends place, in their kitchen and at the shops today.

Schooling:
drifters and torques

new links:

gyromirage>toe drifter bs
smear>toe drifter bs
dlo>toe drifter bs
whirl>drifter rpt  (first shot)
schmoe>toe drifter bs
ripwalk>drifter bs
spinning clip>drifter bs
drifter>spinning clip bs
drifter>spinning clipper>drifter
drifter>dlo bs
clip set dlo>drifter bs
stepping opp legover>toedrifter bs
pdx torque>handcatch x2 :D (in the shops)

I have probably hit some of those before but I re-did them today. Drifters are awesome.

I gave Caroline some challanges tonight. Inside del>mirage (both sides) and Clipper>Mirage. She nailed them both! I was really stoked to see that. She's not getting hung up on the 'mind fuck' that new moves can sometimes be. I showed her symp mirage at her request, but she says she's not ready for that yet, and I agree. It's just good to have her ask.
I also showed her butterfly as she's setting a clipper from the same side toe, so I thought she could give butterfly a go. She's got a way to go for that one, but it's food for thought. The more variations into and out of clippers, the better she can school it.

Me... I started out pretty slow. I managed to stick to drills, mostely, giving myself small challanges to attempt. I began schooling osis as I want to get out of osis>toe. I've been hitting the odd trick out of osis in the past, but I want to drill more variation. So I started out with Osis>ss butter repeat.
I actually ended up schooling the fuck out of that combo. I came close to a full circut a few times, but didn't seal the whole repeated combo.
We'd started earlier than usual (about 6:45) and Caroline stayed until about 7:15 (having gotten in earlier than I). I stuck around for a while and then decided to leave.
As I was walking to my car, I decided to give it another shot, so I got some change from my car and brought a Kit Kat Chunky and a V on the way back to the piazza.
At first I didn't want to play, but talked myself into it.
That's when I went back to the Osis>ss butter repeat combo. After that, I tried Toe>opp butter>ss mirage>ss butter>far switch>repeat. That combo was hard work (even just getting my head around it) and by the end of it my legs were shaking and my arms were covered in a sweat glaze.
I left about 8:30 and only just got home now.

All in all, I'm happy with my drills. I think I've got to go back and drill more because it gives me goals and challanges. This is especially handy concidering Foxy hasn't contacted me since his pikeing at the Kedron Milo demo. I think his not playing has affected me. It's pretty evident when you look back and see that I started playing again when he did. I tried contacting him tonight, but have had no responce. I figure that he wants/needs another break (I have my suspicians as to his reasons, but I'll keep them to myself - only saying that his last session was the BCS at the Botanic Gardens). I'll give him time, but he's got to seek it out again when he wants to come back.

Props on all the drifter stuff, Jesse.

I think osis into ducking anything goes pretty well, because from the osis you're already heading with upward force so you can duck it

keep playing dude

jsut don't make it a chore

Good stuff Brisbane. I really hope I get a chance to come see all this in person soon... don't quit footbag til I leave Aussie Gareth! Jeremy sounds confident that I will end up in Brisbane for a bit at some point. I hope he's right.

Did anybody else see "the Hoff" on Rove Live tonight?

I also have to say I feel real proud that Gareth used the verb "to pike" and I actually knew what that meant! :D I rule. 8)
