Sad to announce I have had a series of unfortunate events.

In about 72 hours I lost a lot of things I held in pretty high regard.

To my dismay I found out that the person I considered myself to be somewhat in love with decided to drop/replace me for some action. This has brought to my attention that this person has no capacity for real feelings. Which conflicts with me being an extremist in love. ah ha.

Then my hydro proceeds to be cut off in the early morning hours.

In retaliation to that I decided to go and speak with the hydro people to explain that they should give us some power. Unfortunately this was a failed attempt and our hydro was not returned to us until the following night.

After returning from this tedious trip to the gov't building I decided I should continue with some errands I had with the bank and other lovely gov't folk. While Bringing the lovely Hot Dog 1 down the stairs I had a very very fatal fall landing in inside clipper position with my full weight of 100lbs on my poor ankle with my bike on top of me. I lay on the road for some time laughing. It was a funny looking fall for sure. I was half on the bike.

My ankle at that point was rushing warm with blood and I paid little attention to it as I tended to poor hot dog who's chain would not stay on no matter how long and hard I tried to get it to stay. Luckily his birth place YELLOW BIKE ACTION is down the street from me so I hobbled down to get the diagnosis.

It was a grave one.

Hot Dog had passed away. His frame was completely bent.

With his blood still on my hands (bike grease) I continued to do my errands. Taking a pit stop at the above person's house to break the news that hot dog no longer rode his sweet ride my ankle had preceded to swell and bruise to the point of what seemed no return.

losing love, hydro, my bike, my ankle which in turn means losing footbag... all in one day...

It was a wonder I didnt curl up and cry for weeks. But that just isnt my style...

So an update on this I suppose.. Since this happened a few weeks ago now..

My bike was revamped and styled into a whole new bike with the same great look and some amazing new features (a very great old skool bell and an awesome kickstand)

My hydro is still on. :)

My ankle is healing pretty well but unfortunately the pain has spread to my knee and now to my hip. So my entire right leg is out of order and there is no way I can even do a toe stall. I cannot even go up and down stairs or walk for more than half an hour without some pretty intense pain.

He's happy.. Im happy.. We're not happy together though. sigh.

I have been stitching like a mad women because I cant play foot sack and the bags that I have been giving birth too are starting to be beyond beautiful and it amazes me all the time that it comes out of my hands!

I am still Vida Shredita... I have to say though i am feeling very discouraged and yet encouraged at the same time about footbag. Some days I want to throw the entire idea away as I now do not really have anyone to play footbag with or stitch with. I think when I move cities that will change, but for now its a lonely day for Vida Shredita footbag magic.

Hopefully I'll be able to meet some more footbag players that will show me the good ol' footbag warmth Ive grown to know and love.

But until then.. buy my footbags! buah aha ha ah aha h..

 <3

Shit Vida that sounds like a pretty rough 72 hours. Thankfully it seems the pendulum is swinging back in your direction. The above pics of yourself strewn about with your lavers and footbag look very much like AA ads. I think perhaps that job infected you more than you realize. When things with boys (in your case, girls in mine) don't work out, life sucks for a while but then slowly it all starts getting better again. Until you're hit with your next cement truck crush and it starts all over. In other words, keep that chin up. On a mostly unrelated topic, I found 'misfit', or rather my friend found it while cleaning his house. It has been a month since I lost that bag and it felt like being reacquainted with an old friend. I feel like a douchebag though because you already sent me a replacement in the mail (in you haven't yet, please don't. I am certainly not deserving). Anyway, sorry about hi-jacking your footblog.

Hugh, you make me smile. Im so glad you found misfit. But I really want you to have this misfit that I am making for you. He is not quite finished but i still think it has to be yours. You deserve it for being so freakin awesome. Im so sad your not going to come to kickass. maybe I'l get my buddy from AA(the owner hehe) to fly me to new york for a vacation and we can meet. but until then, please enjoy my misfits thoroughly and take pics with them! I hope he plays well. big hug for you!

Bander- I was hitting simple stuff like legovers and pick ups and what not, and I was actually not that far away from osis. I was quite addicted to clippers before I got injured. but I havent really been telling people of my progress because I still feel like a n00b and I didnt really think anyone would care!

. Once Im not a cripple I'll make a video for suresies.

Ah yeah, I seriously went through all your blog post looking for post about your progress. Then I read the above post and heard your leg is messed up. I know how you feel though. And people do care about your progress, and I'm a nood too. :)

vida,
shite luck with the injuries in the norther community recently eh? every one seems to be coming down with some sort of affliction. well in western canada it seems to be the norm. i put it down to cold temperatures my self. regardless of how much you really really want to shred, don't! it'll be better in the long run if you take your time with the injury and come back into footbag slowly. if you are loving the clipper moves once the pain is gone keep it well streched for that super clipper flexibility. so important! i wish i was coming to kickass so we could meet, but alas i have an injury of my own.

yeah man.. I make footbag sexy

I have to send out huge fucking hugs and love to all the people who have given their love and best wishes. I seriously cannot thank you enough. Its really good to know there actually are some good people around! and they play footbag!!!!!!

I hope I get adopted into a new circle soon. kingston is so uninspiring!
My leg hurt a lot less today so maybe that is good! but the constant popping in my hip just doesnt seem good. Unfortunately I have to work like everyday so I have hardly had time to get myself to a doctor. I have been trying to take all of your advice to keep stretching my ankle but what do I do if it still really hurts? I can still get the nice curve I want to catch a stall or clipper but stretching it feels like im tearing a babys asshole

Sam C- You are so beautiful! Thank you so much for investing time into that beautiful piece. If your not too shy Id like to post it.

Life is pretty good. ! I need to order some new facile.. Its getting low!

I heart footbag!

and I have been thinking.. There are so many freakin shredders! I think I should have no trouble finding a cute one to shred with.

I would say the ratio is overwhelmingly in your favor.

So I cheated and played a little foot sack. I didnt play for long, but i just tried a few things and looks like the magic is still there. I did some stretching and it feels pretty good. I wish I had more time ot make more bags for kickass.

I need one of those time changers that Hermione has in H. P.

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear all this. I know what it's like to take time off of footbag, and it's not good times at all.

I also know what it's like to lose him/her. No doubt, I feel for you.

It may not mean much coming from a total stranger, but you'll pull through.

The footbag community as a whole doesn't ditch people just because one did. You're safe. :)

PS: It sucks that I didn't meet you when you were working here. *shrug* Oh well, give it some time, I'm sure we'll bump into eachother at a tournament eventually.

Life is fucking NUTS!

I jsut got this pm from Peewee whom I was going to send a free bag:
This is his parents. Please do not send footbag.
wtf?

But thats not all folks! oh no!

As I got this pm I was still in total shock from something else insane that had just happened!

I just got a water bottle poured on me for not being "in the mood" !

:?:

I am in total shock!

but its freakin hilarious.

Don't send footbag?! That's golden.

Feel free to send it my way if you feel like noob-helping. I guarantee you my parents won't send you any pm's.
