The Danish blast - Part 5!

Post by mentor »

Danish Footbag Championships 05 sure was a blast!

Part 5 is filmed in on an open stage located in a nice park, where the big3 and Shred30 also took place.

Featuring: Jorden Moir, Dylan Fry, Mathias Blau, Søren Thomsen, Tobias Larsen and Nikolai Lorenzen

Music:?!? – Please help!

Warning: This video contains lots of atmosphere and plenty of sideline shred + a special bonus!

How old where those two kids? They were crazy.

And I would also like to know the music.

Awesome video!

You are right…they are crazy! Søren is 14 and Mathias is 13 years old and they have been shredding seriously for a year. I am really amazed how fast they push their game. They have a very good coach in Nikolai Lorenzen.

Nice that you noticed this video. I like this particular video best of the five DFC05 productions made. Perfect outdoor location, really good footage, top players and super shred made it kind of hard to fuck up the editing.

Thank you very much, Mads, for the whole series. I really enjoyed all five vids.
Great pictures and very nice editing.

It looks like Danish Champ were really THE BLAST.

I've got one question. Will be there next parts, or is this the last one? I don't know if I should archive it on CD, or maybe should I wait a little bit for some next videos.

Hey Pawel

The five productions from DFC05 are all ready and Part 5 was the final one.

Sorry for the confusion but first I made Part 1+3+4 and then Part 5+2.

You can find them all here: http://www.footbag.org/gallery/showset/dm05productions

part 5 is so cool!!! I love the first low angle jorden shot because it seems to be choreographed to the accents in the music, and I love how that one clipper he does gets right up in the camera. I love seeing the microshredders, and Nikolai is looking pretty dialed. It's great seeing some of the friends I made this summer again. I'm writing this as I watch the video, I love how you put jorden in for that second breakdown, too! His style is just so bombastic that you can put it up against any strong beat, and it looks like it fits. hahaha, jorden represents faxe kondi. That was a great video, why did everyone line up for jani> blurry whirl> ps torque?

thanks for putting that together, I miss you guys.

Thanks everybody... :D

@Matt
I love seeing the microshredders
You did not get a chance to meet them during your stay here but hopefully you will see them in action next summer when they make their debuts at Worlds.

He he he… thanks. It is one of my favourite clips too! I always put some extra work in vids in order to choreograph the players to the accents in the music. This one worked out pretty well.

You are right…Jorden is always easy & interesting to work with in the filming & editing process.
why did everyone line up for jani> blurry whirl> ps torque?
So we could get a picture of the players at the same time as Jorden. In the big3 competition Jorden was persuaded to try an extra attempt because we simply couldn’t get enough. So the jani> blurry whirl> ps torque was actually Jordens 8’th attempt!

We missed you too. Join us next year if you can.

Haha it looks like they had a great time. Those kids rocked out with the simul-strings and Jorden was awesome as usual. Music was sweet. Good one!

Thanks… If you like that run I can recommend two runs of my favourites from the “Masterjam” video. The first at 0,20 and the second at 5,52, but maybe you've already been there!

I think it could be a raynox but I’ll have to get back with an answer later because Lise has the camera at the moment. Anyways we use a Panasonic Camera (just like you) with two different wide angel lenses.
