Thanks David :) So, I had a good session today, there were 3 people playing. Some new things that have been hit:

Blurry Whirl > Spinning Pdx Whirl and Blurry Whirl > Tomahawk... BSOS :D
Mobius > Pdx Torque
Firewalk > Janiwalker > Torquescrew (that's a 5>5>5 combo without Pdx Whirl component! :D )

I also practiced dexless shred a little bit. Atomic Drifter is hard :) Started a run with PS Eggbeater again. I also hit toe DLO > Symp. Mirage BSOS, so my flip toe game is getting a little better. I really liked the feeling of this link: Stepping ss Illusion > Tripwalk.

I was just doinga bit of time traveling on footbag.org when I found this!
Szymon Kalwak (ners) wrote:My today's session was just great ! After 5 minutes of trying I've hit my first Reverse Whirl, and then another one, and another one  . I was so suprised, that i had to have a break :) Then when i got my first flipside Butterfly, I started to think that this day is magic :D And then... On my third try... I got Pixie Butterfly ! My first 4ADD trick :D I'm just so happy :D
Going back and checking out who hit what almost two years ago is soo cool because it brings back such cool memories of what a good session was like way back in the day.

Sorry for the intrusion!

Hehe, great find Byrin - it brought back some memories, from the time when I used to shred by myself in my basement :D Thanks for sharing!

So I just came back from a small jam, that was held in Katowice today. There were about 10 players and we had great fun :D Almost whole day of shredding, 4 Square and all that footbag goodness. I don't think I hit any new tricks, but one nice combo: Janiwalker > Food Processor > Torquescrew. I also remember one super long tripless run, which I'm shure was my record one. It was not all unique, but it had Dimwalks, Parkwalks, Ripwalks, Sidewalks, Blurs and Blizzards on both sides. I dropped on Pdx Whirl attempt :D On the way back to Wroclaw, my friend Olaf gave me an idea for a Beast combo that is very possible for me. I'll try it out tommorow :)

I played with Damian Budzik, Hania, Bucek, Daniel and Wojtas today - it was a great session! :D We shredded for about 3 hours and I hit some new links:

Pixie Paradon > Blurriest > Superfly
Janiwalker > Blurriest > PS Eggbeater 8O
a run with Whirlygig BS, Whirlwind, Mullet and Food Processor
Sumo > Phoenix > run with Blurry Whirl > Blurry Whirl and PS Whirl > Spinning Pdx Whirl

I gave a lot of tries for a beast but didn't hit it. I was really close once though. :) I also hit Spinning PS Eggbeater first try. And Nemesis about 5 times. :D

3. Damian Piechu Piechocki
4. Michał Penas Ostrowski
I don't remember the rest

2. Szymon Pozdrawiam Ners Kałwak
3. Hubert Godi Godlewski

Sick3:
1. Damian Piechu Piechocki (Blurry Whirl > Whirlwind > Spinning Pdx Blender)

2. Budzik & Wiktor
3. Piechu & Godi

Sorry if I messed some of those results up, and I probably have  I don't remember the rest too.

It's great that there are some new players, some of them with great skills (Norek for example), and that the level of routines got so incredibly high. I thought most of the final routines could compete at Worlds finals. Big props for all the guys who made the tournament possible, for all the contestants and for Pepe for letting me crash at his place :D We'll see each other next year (or probably sooner  ).
And now I'm going to shred :D

Thanks setman :) Didn't you know that both of Ostrowski brothers are nicknamed Penas? Penasy :D

So, it was a good session, I was pretty relaxed and also hit some new stuff. I think the best thing was a run with Osis > Ripwalk BS, Spinning Osis > Ripwalk BS, Torque > Ripwalk (rpt), and Blender > Ripwalk. I dropped on flip Blender > Ripwalk attempt.
I also tried some new dexless links, like Spinning Osis > Spinning Clipper (rpt) or Gyro Osis > Gyro Clipper (rpt) - that was inspider by Max
I also hit Whirling Butterfly BSOS, but I think I've hit that before. My toe shred is getting better too, I think, but I'm still mostly on Clippers.

I played with Radek today, so it was a two man session. I worked on my Osis and Zooming tricks a bit, and schooled both Pixies a lot. Got some new drills, like:

Smear > Pixie ss Mirage (rpt)
Magellan > Pixie Legover (rpt)
Quantum Legover > Pixie Legover (rpt)
Tap > Pixie Legover (rpt)
Pdx Whirl > Whirl > Symp. Whirl (rpt)
DLO > Parkwalk (rpt)

I think my best toe combo today had about 10 contacts. It's pretty hard, but very cool :) My Illusions are getting a little better too, Blizzard has a great feeling.

Good session, there were 3 people playing. I was tired after hardcore Sports class that I had before, but I still found some energy to try new stuff:

Janiwalker > Ripped Warrior
Whirling Butterfly in a shuffle string
Whirlygig > PS Whirl almost BSOS
Food Processor > PS Whirl > run
Alpine Blurry Whirl > run (close to BSOS too :) )
run with DLO and Pdx DLO BSOS, and Gyro DLO
Bigwalk - I finally figured it out! Before I thought it's impossible for me to hit it clean. :D
Barfly > Pdx Drifter (rpt)
run with Barfly BS, Blurriest BS, Pixie Paradon and Scorpion's Tail

I also hit Whirlygig > Whirlwind again. After trying some Torques it came to me that I still do my old mistake of jumping to high in the air. After correcting this they felt a lot easier, especially the Pdx version.

Solo session today, so it sucked a little. But I could work on some concepts that I don't normally try. I hit flipside Bigwalk, Gyro Barraging set (about knee high) and Blurry Grifter.

I played a little with this funny trick, when you catch the bag with your both feet, trapping it between insides. I hit a combo with it, which went like Stepping, then a small spin, this trapping delay done behind my back, and immediately after it setting the bag in front of me and performing a quick Legover. I hope my explanation makes sense :)

I also figured out that I can hit Pdx Blender almost without spinning - that's funny, because I don't have super ankles or anything like that :) I haven't tried Symp. Barraging for a while, so it felt good to hit Symp. Flurry again - I also got pretty close on the other side too.

Thanks Ptaku! I'll write about yesterday's session. We played outside, and it wasn't the best idea - for me it was a little too windy and cold. But still we played for about 2 hours. There were 4 people, so we had a nice circle going. Olaf hit Spinning Mobius for the second time! 8O I schooled my Pixies and other toe stuff and had some good toe combos. Witchdoctor BS was a nice acomplishment as well :D

After our shred we went to a shopping center and bought a big 1kg melon :D It was awesome, sweet and delicious :)

I finally played today! It was great :) I don't think I had any great highlights, but I hit some new stuff while working on sets. I hit Pixie, Fairy, Atomic and Quantum Mirage, Whirling Butterfly, Whirling Pdx Mirage and Matador BS.

I think I had a few good runs, on of them was even a bit varied (Drifter > DLO BS, Pdx Whirl > Pdx Eggbeater and some other genuine stuff). My flip Clipper gave me some problems though. I had trouble with Stepping and some other Clipper tricks. On of my Grifters is possible the - I have to work on it.

Stylie combo of the day: Pixie Legover > Tripwalk > Whirling Butterfly :D

So I just wanted to hit Frantic Legover a moment ago, and while delaying the bag I sent it flying through the air - of course it landed behind a big bookcase :x

And maybe there will be a video with Olaf and me.
