I will go find the footage and post it, okay?

He hit it and then I had him hit it again for the camera.

Give the kid a fucking break, you guys are so harsh sometimes.

He has more skill than basically everybody that is denouncing his claim, so eat shit!
Sometimes with hard tricks, its just hard to comprehend something being so clean without a video verification. Someone a long time ago hit nemesis, posted it, and said "look what I hit". But based off of the idea of "nemesis will never be hit", no one would believe. Along comes video footage though.

I have complete trusting and confidence in people who post their new moves. It is nice to have a video verification however, and I think the reason some people may not have copmletely believed the alpine fairy tale is because some people are NOT true to their word (or unsure) when they hit something.

I say good job and props on the aft!!! :)

EDIT: Oh yeah, I know that sometimes I post moves and they aren't clean. I'm not trying to lie, I just don't have the proof, or I couldn't tell myself.

I think you guys need to chill the hell out. So people want a video? Cry me a river. Doesn't change anything except more people get to witness it.

yeah totally. I think it's important also to understand that different people have different ideas of what "clean" really is. Fairy spinning is a great example where lots of people hit it and post videos and some people see those videos and say "yeah that's clean" while other people have the opinion that basically every single fairy spinning set they've seen is "the".

I really wouldn't want to comment either way on if this particular move is clean or not but personally I only post moves publically on the forum if I am certain they are clean. And when I say certain I don't mean that they felt clean or that other people said that they were clean. There are a few moves I've hit that I thought were clean and those watching thought were clean but going by the nature of the move (ie. really really fast and multiple chances of "the's") I thought it was best not to say anything unless I actually get a clean one on video. I especially have that opinion with moves with multiple chances of "thes" because I think it's really hard for almost everybody to focus on more than one aspect of a trick - especially when it's very fast.

That said, if you feel comfortable posting stuff you've hit that could be "the" I have no problem with that - I just often won't believe it until I do see a video. Luckily there is a video and hopefully we'll see it really soon and we can see for sure who is right. If the video never appears I'll assume the move was "the".

edit: I'm guessing it's Will hitting fairy tale in the kickass video for a sick 1. If so I'd say the fairy set isn't clean. Sorry.

I judge fairy spinning cleaness the same way I do a normal fairy. If the bag passes under your leg (anywhere above your foot) then it's clean.

My last post wasn't meant to upset anybody. I'm sorry if it did, but if so, y'all need to grow up.

My point was: It's not worth posting about moves you hit if the move contains various elements which are easy to "the," considering nobody will believe you without a video. If you DO have a video, then post it.

Somebody posted that Vasek hit sailing ss flurry, and Ales vouched for its cleanliness. That's Vasek we're talking about, and its still not good enough for me. If somebody asks me if a 5 dex has been hit, I will tell them that "no, I haven't seen one yet, and none have been hit on video."

Did Will Digges hit Alpine Fairy Tale cleanly? Maybe he did. If so, major props. But if he did hit it clean, and its on video, then it should be shown. That way we can all celebrate a cool trick being hit cleanly. When you just post something like "I hit alpine fairy tale," you have to expect that a lot of people will be skeptical, because that sort of thing has happened before countless times.
