KACHING!!!

Damn its been a while since I wrote something.

WOW KICKASS KICKEDASS!!! I had SUCH a great time and met so many awesome cool people and played leggyball alot and stuff and partied and stuff and even more stuff happened. Imm too lazy to write a report, theres plenty out there.

Anyway, yesterday was a pretty intense shred, me and Mathieu 2 manned it pretty much all evening.

I felt good and hit SEVERAL new tricks and combos, which was really cool. Stuff like whirling pdx dlo, whirling same torque, symp torque, symp mob, flip pixie muted swirl, and some more stuff. I footed 96 (nuclear grifter).. I also hit whirr > swirl > symp torque, which was phatter then fat being spelt with a PH for the first time. So yeah, SHIPOW! I represent a hundred ten percent.

Mathieu is getting alot better then he used to be. The frustrating part is that hes just missing this one key in his game thats keeping him back a bit. I dont know what it is yet but we'll find it so he can explode and do damage to the footbag scene in that explosion. BAM!

What else what else.... going to shred in Kingston next week, cooooooooooooool im already excited!!

Thats about it, I guess. Yeah.

UNTIL NEXT TIME,
SAME BAP PLACE
SAME BAP TIME

the thing missing in my game is more practice! MORE MORE N MORE! I cant live with 2 sessions a week, even tough I bitch my leg hurts all the time, in 2 weeks no more bike for me, wich means no more bitching, and hopefully more shredding
I didnt know you where going to kingston! Bring back some souvenirs I would so love to go there one day ;)

Had a good two man session tonight with Koa at metro Joliette
He was always averaging some solid runs, I like how he goes tiltless and always has this surprising 3 add move coming!. He is really serious and concentrates a lot before going for that difficult move, its really inspiring.
I'm there being the oposit, trying to hit all my hard moves one after the other, even tough I have no energy left!
I gave him some tips for Symp whirl and gyro/spinning, It seemed to help but it's not there yet. His drifters are coming better, both sides!
Pdx drifter ! Man he footed it so many times without cleaning it, I'm so jaelous! I want to hit that too :D
on my side even tough I dont feel I played well at all (like I was hiting no pixies! wich really sucked since it's my best set and favorite right now)
new moves :
- blizzard (it was THE, but with some energy I think I can hit this easier then blur
- stepping ss mirage (about time, hit it couple of times)
also I duno if new, but I did ducking pdx mirage > handcatch > flip ducking pdx mirage > handcatch > ducking pdx mirage > handcatch

Koa also hit stepping ss mirage first try after I told him "man you can do it , it will be easy for you"
I try to push him do do osis's! also variations like stepping ss osis, stepping osis.. He has to practice them they will fit so nicely in his style!

On a very personnal note: I went to the ATM cash machine at my bank, withdraw 420$, 300$ came out only, card got stuck
I have to send this letter (already done) wich explains situation and in 2 months I'll maybe get my money back!!! but the lady on the phone confirmed me the machine did a mistake
oh well shit happens

3 man session since kolo didnt play for more then 5 minutes
the long haired guy was sick, he did a ripped warrior > ducking buterfly wich was solid, beats his ripped warrior > toe stall combo!
I've done a whirl midstring in a 8 contacts guiltless string :D

Thanks for the vid man!

it was a funny session.. I like to call it the "almost" session, because I was ALMOST hitting some REALLY REALLY sick stuff, but its like damn, thin or the or juuuuuust a bit too slow. Oh well, played well anyways.

ONLY SUCKAS NEED BODYGUARDS!! I had to get that out.

Mathieu was playing VERY well, btw. Hes getting alot more solid.

You lucky bastards :(

SUCH A FUN SESSION! I played like a heel but Mathieu is improving sooo much, its pretty ridiculous. Alot more control every session, it seems. Also, good variety and some fun links. Watch out world!

Now, for a random quote from the night (M for Mathieu and N for Nick):

M: Wow, whirling mobius would be such a nice trick 8O
N : Sounds fucking hard 8O
M : I think legover is harder 8O

Note the fact that the smilies ALL belong there, its not just useless repetition!!! 8O

Anyway, yeah. know who else showed up, humble reader?

SEBASTIEN THE HURRICANE DUSCHENE!!!!! 8O

He is recovering slowly from his injury!!! Oh shit!!! I cant wait till he is back on the scene completely. He had to take it E to the Z but I could See that he was busting trusting his blades that were gonna Be... something. thats it for my freestyle rap. I tried to do it without thinking conciously, so not too bad.

Chill!!!

James, your blades are still sharp enough that I'd use them to shave my pubes off, dry. Can't wait to kick buddy :D

Anyway, had a 2 hour solo shred tonight. I had forgotten how tiresome those things get! I also drilled for the first time in ages, it felt odd, like new underwear.

I'll try to think up some highlights.. the session was OK. Nothing too spectacular, but when I warmed up properly I was feeling good. flip pixies were listening to me today, which is nice, so I could hit some fun flip pixie stuff thats harder then smear, pixie butterfly, etc. flip pixie diving osis was the big one, also hit plenty of other things. flip smog, a rarity for me!

Worked on flip torques and flip double-downs, which are the bane of my game. didnt hit too many flip barflies, but I DID get my first flip pixie paradon, and a flip motion! Felt really good. Hit Pdx Torque > Pdx Torque, something I hadnt hit in over a year.

The problem actually boils down to my flip clipper. Theres just something about it thats a bit funny... I dont think I bend my support leg enough and position myself well. All my flip stuff will be beautiful EXCEPT the catch, which is awkward, off balance, and sometimes i cant see the bag well. Im not sure exactly what makes it do that, and have been working on it for a while to figure it out, but the key to that lock hasnt popped up yet.

Anyway, heres a run-down of some fun-combos when I finally started shredding after the intense drill stuff:

FLIP 69!
double blender > grifter > ps whirling rake
quantum dyno bs
whirlwind > sumo
ripped warrior > swifter > food

thats about it I that I can think of, I guess. Finnished the shred off with the BIGGEST BADDEST place of spaghetti this side of the atlantic, and then some hotchocolate after. sweetness!

UNTIL NEXT TIME!
SAME BAP PLACE!
SAME BAP TIME!!!

A personal post, unshred-related:

Man its so easy to go from being optimistic and positive to depressed. got a bunch of horrible news today and its completely wrecking me internally. i dont feel like shredding or doing anything for the next while, or ever, at all. Feeling like shit sucks :(

I dont want to relive family problems that went down last year, but im being dragged into a bunch of fucking bs thats not even related to me but just got dropped on me like a bomb.
