Kicked yesterday. mostly tried links that i've never done and challenges. here are the few things that I remember.

kicked with jeremiah a little while ago. he wasn't pushing the pixie shuffle as much as usual and focused more on stepping and fairies.
It took a while for my legs to warm up cause i've played eight hours of footbag since wednesday. my string length was crappy due to my stiff legs and I couldn't fairy worth a damn but I played pretty well.

what a fucked up week. a friend of my roomates died in Iraq serving for the marines. a few days later, a friend of mine died in the coast guard (i'm glad they're there for a just cause

I've been enjoying my past two days because I didn't have to work. Yesterday I went to the hot springs at Weir Creek in Idaho to look for a buddy's keys which were left at the trailhead. Drank for awhile at the hot springs and got back around 3 p.m. Took a nap until like 8:30. Did my laundry after drinking a 6er of Big Sky Powder Hound (probably my second favorite beer/ale next to Trout Slayer from Bayern).

Kicked for awhile today. Didn't want to do too much because my hip is hurting today from PS miraging last week and lots of work.

Funny story from work. My managers Jordan and Angela (a married couple) were having maritial problems and Angela was pretty stressed out about it. I offer her some greenage for after work got out and we went out back of BK and fired one up. Two people that I work with were flirting with each other earlier and were getting down in the garbage area out back while we were toking. I could barely control myself from laughing. Then they got yelled at the next day.

Forgot to talk about the other purpose of this blog: footbag.

Kicked at MFA. Went to Sentinel for a bit, then to the U. My right hip started acting up again after a while of playing. Hit pdx illusion once clean, then tried to show Kevin and did two the pdx illusions. Argh... Oh well, practice more, I guess. Purchased a new freedom finally! Haven't kicked with it yet, but I plan on using it tomorrow when we kick.

Highlights:

Worked on butterfly>pdx mirage quite a bit (more flipside than strong because of my hip)

Drilled illusion>pickup. Uptime/midtime illusions are becoming cleaner. Need to work on downtime. Maybe I'll try the stretch Jorden said to do.

Drilled ducks. Flipside sucked, but strongside wasn't too shabby. Almost hit diving butter.

Hit smear>butter; almost hit the pdx mirage afterwards, but as usual, I fucked it up.

I want to work on flip pixie a bit more after my hip calms down. I'd like to get it looked at if it keeps bothering me after one more week, but I'm too poor to come up with the medical rape...erm, funds.

Oh yeah, an fat douchebag that I work with stole my bike last night at work. I can't prove it, but I'm sure it was him. He's stolen from the til (which Angela and myself also can't prove...yet) and stole another kid's bike (who I work with), so I'm not doubting he yoinked my bike. And if I find out it was him, I'm going to beat him to a pulp after I take it up with Allen. Also got bitched to about the floors looking shitty, but I wasn't even at work the two previous nights, one of which the inspectors inspected and our store failed the inspection. So, to shut Allen's fat ass up, I got the floors damn near spotless last night. He also bitched to me about drawing on a picture, an incident that happened almost two weeks ago, which I had no part in other than laughing at the photo. Also had a nine hour night last night thanks to Allen's antics. Oh well, I trust Stephanie will bitch him out for me.

so yeah, about wednesday.

it was the second flagship footbag meeting at sentinel high school. this kid named pat learned toe stall bs, inside stall bs, legover bs, pixie, and almost got a drifter.
mfa was from 5-7 and evan and i continued till 9. spent the entire session trying sams challenge. i was one strong torque away from completing it when I bailed to a clipper mirage

ahhhh. got the most bsos drifters of my life. had one string wtih bsos blender and almost bsos pdx blender. dod>barfly. tried eggbeater>paradon>ps illusion>rpt but only got the first three. it'll be awhile before I do that one.

played for about a half hour last night. tried to drill flip paradon and got about six

Had two sessions today. Kicked with Riley, Kevin, and Ty at the farmer's market and had a solo sess at 6:00.

Had awesome strings at the market. Hit mirage>legover>mirage>legover>butter>pdx mirage>butter>drop on the next pdx mirage. Best drill string I've hit yet. Worked on eggplant for most of the sess and footed it a few times. Hit mirage about 21 or 22 contacts.

Worked on eggplant, flip butter/clipper, fairys and spins. Finally hit eggplant towards the end of the sess.

New hits:

Gryo clipper both sides

Diving clipper
Illusion>pickup>illusion>pickup

Had a really clean symple legover that if I would've reacted quicker, I could've made it a flail.

Got yelled at at work yesterday and got had some words with my manager about how things are being done since the inspectors came. He was pretty pissed at me for a bit, then after Stephanie bitched at him for me, came back and apologized for being a dick.

i couldn't get my head into the game for some reason. my body was still super sore from the four hoursr with evan on wednesday. hit a new link: tripwalk>food processor. that's about it

I want to kick today but have two tests at the end of the week to study for. I'm planning on buying a halloween costume today. possibly a tavern goer or Neo. when I was really little, I went about five consecutive years as a california raisin

Well, work didn't suck too bad last night. I ended up closing because Angela asked me too. She helped train me to do front orders and what not and she's going ot bitch to Allen about giving me my raise soon. Got out at around midnight and cheefed a bowl with her after work because she let me have a beer when we closed.

Mike got yelled at (finally) for stealing from the tills. Nothing will probably happen because he's one of Allen's favorites. The douche also tried to get Kris and myself involved in a fight that had absolutely nothing to do with us when we found out after I went outside with two pre-release dudes to get them out of our parking lot. Slept really good last night.

Not much happened yesterday. Worked at 4, got off at midnight. Trained up front again. My tills were 26 cents over! Yay for me. I teabagged the lobby and the restrooms cleaning wise. Hopefully I'll get my raise soon. That'd be nice.

played yesterday and my knees felt incred at the start. Hit one of my longstanding challenges:pdx torque b2b. mostly tried to push my pixie shuffle(which is weak). bops bops bops bops bops bops. i've been trying to focus on downtime moves more lately and my dlos felt pretty good. i lost both whirls. and realized at the end of the session that id done zero fairies on either side. not too long after i spent a full session drilling them.

oh well.

sjff is going to be sooo phat

hopefully my knees don't hurt. that was a HUGE problem at css, MFJ2, and portland. I played like shit at all of those, and that's 3/4 of the events i've attended. i'm sick of playing like shit at jams. hopefully things start to turn around soon. [/end bantering]
