„Footbag for Freedom“- kicking against war

Post by dan »

„Footbag for Freedom“

Footbaggers from all over the world, get together and set a sign! This is supposed to be a worldwide protest shred against the war in iraq. No matter in which country you live.
On Sunday april 6th 2003 at 15.00 local time go to the most public place you know, put up a banner saying “no war” (or else), set up some music and strart kicking for peace. Freestyle, circle kicking, four square anything will work. Try to make it official (i.e. declare it as an art performance at the local city hall) so you can not be kicked out of place. The more people kicking the better. Try to get as many people involved as you can.

Anybody out there beeing offended by this post plaese feel free and ignore it.

Thanks

I actually like this idea man. I don't know if I'll do it or not yet, but I like it. Did you post on Flipsider yet? Just wondering.

i did send it to [email protected] (though i dont recieve any mails from the list for weeks now), posted here and on flipsider and was travelling around the globe signing every guestbook/ forum etc.

and i think doing it wont be a big deal as far as most of us are shredding often during the week. the only difference should be the public area.
