Wow, you guys doing the right thing here - archiving ( pls gimme gimme )
shreding hard and putting out vids 8) and :D at the same time !!!

I keep my self busy with skooling in general :
dlos, equasions, patience, latin and all the other 3's and 4's...

Before and after work i could shred for a bit, a really tiny bit,
if you ask me , a meager total of 45 hot minutes.

This is what i hit :

stepping clipper bs

smear>drifter ; gyro mir>smear

smear>ss butter>ripwalk>run

ducking clip>ripwalk>short run bs

butter>step legover>smear
one one side , ducking clip>st. legover>plo
on my flip - thats the way 4ward !

diving clip>ducking clip back 2 back

ducking clip>blur b2b 8)

flip legbeater...i hit it probably once before, but this time i sealed it
with a short run, which inspired me to hit my first flip

tapdown

lets shred on the weekend and make a new vid :D

Yessss man, very nice combo and very very nice guiltless run :D ..

I worked on taps (Very cool Set out of a pdx mirage I think) zulu, weaving clipper (worked only on my strong side) and ducking diving (on both)..

And I hit butterfly swirl and matador again after a long time...

Hi Markus I hope the surgery goes well! And that you are back soon showing us how to do Nuclear!

17. October 2005
After recovering from a annoying cold shreding in the gym was the best thing to do :) Bea, Bjoern, Daryl and I were there.
For me the session was really good...
Flip DLO > Pixie ... several times
Sidewalk > Ripwalk 3 times in a row yeah that are 12 stepping tricks linked :)
3x Atomsmasher (2 of them were on flip so 4x shouldn't be too hard 8))
Some good runs
One long runs with only Butterflies, ss Butterflies and Osis <- important for my game

And Daryl plz back me up where my memory fails me.

DISCLAIMER :

Max is by no means an add hunter in the common meaning of the word,
which means, he's not hunting for "cheap" moves, just to say :
Yay, i've hit this and that many adds .

It is a pun that i came up with, when i was very new to the sport and
when i didnt know anything about the negative connotations that go along
with the footbag term "add hunter".
His surname "Jaeger" is hunter in german, and since he's a footbag player and not a killer, we called him add hunter instead of head hunter....

Ah yeah, i still bust and stuff, but i'll talk about thi shit when i come home from work :P [/b]

I feel your pain, man - i'm in the same predicament, too much of studying
and work these days !

Plus, the crap weather . I caught a cold, so i cant shred outside at all these
impossible places and times i've grown accustomed to.

But all this will last only till next week, since i got my work hrs down and
rearranged my schedule, so that i have more time for the sweet things
in life, like sitting here telling you all that Bea hit legbeater on
monday :D !!!

my new hat is truth 8) .

Well, i didnt had the time to post recently, so heres the update ;
since my last entry i only managed to shred twice, once at school
last week and another time on this mondays gym shred :

At school, i was working hard on all the walks and flip pixie ish.
It was good and sweaty, and the time working on more guiltless
combos was also well spent -

butter>p mir>smear>butter>p mir>smear Yay !

butter>ssbutter>p mir b2b

ducking clip>far butter>shmoe
strong

ducking clip>far butter>dlo flip

tap>smear>butter>p mir ; tap>plo>butter>p mir>smear strong

tap>plo>butter>ducking clip>ducking clip

stepping clipper bs
:D

Monday :

I was late due to a weird meeting at work, so i didnt dee much of Bjoern..
 and everybody else was playing hard already when i finally showed
up. Bea was doing good, especially at the beginning and as i always
say that Max busts the hardest and that Bjoern has the best style
from our team - Beatrice definitly has the best form : 2 years, her and
Yves = double freestyle extacy = wedding gift :P :P :P !
MMMMax, well, he's getting really good, but strangly enough, i feel
like getting to his level the sooner, the better he becomes.
The word i'm looking for here, is inspiration, i guess  ...
Just gimme 1,5 yrs ...

Anyway, after warming up with all kindsa clippers and BOPs,
(claps himself on the shoulder at least twice..), and some disorientated
pixies, i got sucked in the circle.
I wasnt tooo crazy, but i felt solid and kinda daring and at the end,
when people left and got a little to tired for long runs, i was just in
the mood to unleash some atomic ( and other !) frenzy :

atomsmasher>smear>run strongside , atom>plo>run flipside :D

atom>ss smear>run and blur>atom>long run ( flip atoms )

atom>smear>atom>run with another flip atomsmasher 8O

atomsmasher>atomic legover>run

dimwalk>dlo

ducking clip>spinning clip>mirage>ss clip>spinning clip>p mir

a run with butter>step legover bsosand flip blur out of ducking clip

a run with atomsmasher, ripwalk and flip blur

terrage>butter>p mir>smear>ducking clip>p mir>plo>ducking mirage

spinning osis !!!

terraging ss clipper
the first ones were really shitty, like one and
a half eyebrow rising dexes, but one that i hit towards the end was legit .

What else ? 21 tiltless with butters, p mirs, duck mir and ducking clip -
shit loads of pixies, but not enough and definitly not enough linkage.
Both legbeaters again - dear Jesus, i gotta hit matador !

Thats it.

The White Stripes are one of the best life bands i've ever seen 8O !

German essay tomorrow ( in 6 hrs !) and a teeny bit of footbag yesterday,
when i grew tired of having a bad cold :

smear>butter> stepping ss mirage bothsides

ducking clipper>step ss mir> ss smear

lots of osis=lots of problems  :? and hopefully :) someday...

And props for all your moves!

Kinda true for me aswell - i mean i wasnt pissed or anything, but more
of a victim of concentration difficulties, but had enough endorphins going
to stay happy :D

I felt good anyway, hungry to bust, since i wasnt shredding much the
last weeks and my two seniors encouraged me and challenged me
to hit some new stuff .
Hint, hint...do that more often
My runs werent on, but they werent sucky either, still climbing my
way up to guiltlessness .
I was able to hit most combos on both sides :duck clip>step legover bsos,
duck clip>blur bs, smear>butter>p mirage b2b and so on .

New shit :

10 cosecutive smears
- that really surprised me !

symp mirage> ss symp mirage bs

ducking clipper>blur>smear>dimwalk

smear>tap>butter>p mir>tap>plo>run

toe blur, atomsmasha, parkwalk, dimwalk in 1 run :P

atomsmasher>ducking symp mir>dimwalk

toe blur>atomsmasher
- its so much harder then
the other way around and this lil' combo was probably the best and
most rewarding sensation in this sesh .

And one new trick i've been waiting (not nessesarily working ) for
4 ages :

PIXIE DLO - relief. I'm not too stupid to triple dex

edit : thanx Ian...till in two weeks :D !!!

Thanks Szymon !

Btw, have you seen our latest vid, starring Bjoern and Max?
I think it svery nice, and i wondered, why no one commented on it yet...

I just came back from a little session, so i better write this while my
memory is still - totally unlike my shorts- fresh !

My infinities need mad work, so i gave em some lovin, which paid of
in the later part of the shred. I still couldnt break my record, but i kinda
know how to do them now, and also stepping out of butters was fairly easy today.

Stepping. Mhhhh, what can i say it really is like pixie, i.e. unreliable,
but today it was there, making me smile :D

I also did some spinning, to relax from all the dexing, and i did countless
attempts to break my plo record (4), but i only managed to tie it a few times, both sides, of course .

plo>tap>butter>p mir>smear>d mir>d clip

tap>plo>tap>plo>but>p mir

butter>shmoe>butter>step ss mirage>smear

gyro legover both sides

diving clip>sidewalk>mirage>ss clip>diving clip>step legover

ripwalk bsos

blur>dim>blur

one run with shmoe, flip blur and butter>step legover bsos

Today i had a big day footbagwise - i finally found out how to whirl !
I wanted to have a session before work, but time was too short to
go thru the whole program of drills, combos and runs.
So i decided to do something i rarely ever do - skooling a single move.
A couple of pixie to hand for a warm up, and then i really got into whirls.
I love thhem, loved em ever since and i can clearly remember watchting
vids at a very early and uneducated stage in my footbag life, of me
smiling when i saw somebody hitting a whirl trick.

Back then it was one of the first elemnts that i could distinct from others
and the whirls pure and simple beauty where part of making me
the fanatic i am today - it was in short always something i wanted
to master eventually .
This goal became more and more defined, realizing its possibilities
by watching Vasek, Chad and especially Juho Marjo doing all these
insane whirl variations.

The first time i hit whirl was last xmas, fom toe of course, and then later,
painfully inconsistently, also from clipper .
Actually i was so bad at them, that i concentrated on toe tricks, working
on my clippers and butter for getting enough confidence in doing stuff
that starts and/or ends in clipper before hitting the often requested
whirl and drifter thingys .
Over the last weeks i improved a lot in this field - it started with a better
form of all clipper variations, which lead to some improvement for my
stepping set.
With better butterflies all the -walks moves became easier and finally
i was able to muster the control for the first drifters and random swirls.
Inspired by some small whirl succsess, confirmed by Max J , that i had
in the gym 2 weeks ago, i used my little time today to understand the
set and the timing of whirls - and it worked :D

Toe same side whirl thaught me about how deep the dex should be,
and i'v hit many of them clean, which boosted my confidence
and made me happy.
From clipper i set low and dexed early - thats basically what Max and
Viktor kept telling me on various occasions - and it helped.
Spätestens dann bin ich ausgeflippt and i cleared the dexes for
toe ss whirling swirl and even footed blurry whirl twice 8O !

And when i, against against all odds  hit pixie whirl and smoke, je zweimal, i felt
like i might actually be good at footbag one day :P

quite cool to read such a story about improvement on whirls Dayrl.

I always remembered you as a toe to toe machine but now I am quite curious to see your latest stuff - toe set whirling swirl - that's insane --> you are becoming good, guy !

Thanks Jochen :D that day, i actually had to think of you telling me
about my lack of clipper game in Dortmund, and i moved on from
there, i guess -
but anyways, this one good attempt of toe ss whriling swirl
was something that the four letter word "luck" describes best
but as soon i'm able to hit swirls midrun, this move shall be mine

today i was kicking some in my break and i hit smear>tap both sides and
another fat ass pixie whirl  !
