How lazy do you have to be to...?

Post by Splint »

My friend and I have had a repeated discussion over certain chores or other brainless courtesies that people have got to be REALLY lazy not to accomplish.

We agreed that you have got to be one seriously lazy SOB to not refill the ice tray with water and put it back in the freezer.

What do you consider to be some of the easiest things that go totally undone due to complete laziness?

Neglecting to close a tube of toothpaste.. but now they make containers so you don't have to screw on a lid anymore :?

Instead of putting your dirty dishes in the dishwasher, u just drop them in the sink until it piles up to the faucet cause u don't feel like opening the DW... I'm guilty of this one :(

abbreviating dishwasher...

I'm the wrong person to ask about this - I'm the person that does the lazy things. Actually I'm the only person who refills the ice tray but I'm always too pre occupied such that I'm always leaving tops off bottles or putting them in the wrong cupboard or stuff like that (I put my mobile phone in the fridge the other day and didn't realise until somebody called). I don't think I'm particularly lazy - just I'm to obsessed with other things in my life to remember the boring essentials :P (I almost forgot to eat before going to work today because I was busy with some nestle stuff).

Okay, I'm not the only person in my house capable of taking the dishes out of the dishwasher !

I love the dish washer, but it seem some people can't grasp the concept. If the dishes are done by the machine, you have to get them into the machine to get them clean. I can empty the thing in less than a minute, using my two handed multigrab technique.

I second the people letting crap pile up in the sink.

OMG this is too easy. I've had roommates that will eat like pizza or whatever, and leave the plate and the glass on the living room table. And then they get mad when you mention it. Like "Hey man, you left your dishes in the living room." And then they look at you like you're crazy. "You're just like my MOM!" They reply. It's like, dude, you're 30.

hehe, maybe it's not that you're like his mom, maybe it's that his mom was right ;) I'm one out of three that takes the old toilet paper roll off and puts the new one on.

How about taking out the bread, peanut butter and jelly, then leaving behind the unscrewed lids, bread crumbs, and jelly splatter so that all the insects in the insect kingdom can feast on your kitchen countertop.

muy bad form

You don't take the last cookie/candy/*insert what you want here* just because you should put the package away after that.

dude, girls cannot put a new toliet roll back on, they just put it on the counter, annoys me. Also, close the damn cupboards after you grab something out of them, don't just leave them open.

Putting the toilet seat down. Fortunately I only live with my sister so it's not a problem any more, but I hate it when people leave the seat up. It just looks nasty.

I think that's the equivalent to us men not putting down the toilet seat??
