It is labeled faux sue-and the receipt cuts off. I'll check with the CIC when I kick with them in an hour and a half! whether or not it's genuine. After that, I'll be heading back tonight and may be able to pick it up for everyone.

It's not thaaaaaaat expensive! The ratio of how much material costs to how much you can make from stabbing bags (once you are good) is like 1:700 or something!

It may look expensive, but it's well worth it. Just got a short term job, save up for a few months, buy your stock of fabric, build up your profit, and you're on your way!! *this all coming from someone whos never even ran a business

But I think that whole system makes fair sense, so yeah, the hardest hurdle to jump is the stitching and the startup funds :/

i have had a part time (full time over the summer) job for well over a year, and JUST inherited 1000 bucks from my dead grandmother. i have also stitched up between 30 and 50 bags already from other materials, and sold about 20 bags to thoroughly satisfied customers (mostly hacky slackers). therein lies the difficulty...im not sure my usual customers will buy a bag that costs 20 bucks. and there are already too many stitchers for the freestyle market....whatever. im still gonna buy at least 1 yard of like 5 colors. but, back to my other question...is fields fabrics the cheapest place to purhase it? (assumption is being online...)

pretty much, yes. If you buy other places, you're getting , for the most part, "untested" product.

Check out ultrasude.com, its the manufacturers site not a sales site. Theres lots of cool facts about ultrasude light (formerly labeled as facile). Like how the strands in ultrasude are so fine a small peice of it unraveled could reach the moon and back. I also notice you can get the material custom made for your own puposes

, but you would need to order a bunch to have them custom make the best freestyle bag material for us.
