wow, i totally missed that original post. please explain, ville, what the problem is with drinking water from the tap? unless things are different in Finland...the water is chemically cleaned so it is thoroughly drinkable. (and even good for your teeth)

Regarding germs, there was this study done of the most unclean places for germs and bacteria. Toilets and other stuff in the bathroom as eveyone would imagine, wasn't one of the top places. Places like water bubblers and door handles had more germs on them because they are touched a lot more, and it makes sense. You go to the bathroom a few times a day maybe and you touch other things maybe a couple dozen times a day. Ah yes, after writting this post, I think I remember that keyboards were one of the dirtiest things too.

I say "no, they get washed in the dishwasher"
