I'm thinking about playing today. Don't know if I will, though.

I think you should.

I just got back from youth camp down the coast.
So freakin awesome. There was a guy with fireworks and he sold some to other people. I got given a few widow makers (about the size of your index finger) and some mini chello's (same length as WM but skinnier). The first night was pretty much just chillaxin, playin handball, music, XBOX etc... My mate let off some of his other crackers round but that was pretty much it for that night. Next day we went to Springbrook cause they have like this waterfall thingo there. It was a 6km hike to the waterfall and at 4km you have to turn left. Because I was near the back of the group with some girls (thats right Hagesy), we went the wrong way and ended up going all the way round the place on this large ass hike back to the carpark only to see the map as soon as we got there. So I was stuck with 3 other chicks (sam, laken and burnadette) for the rest of the arvo. We went to some fudge shop and had the best fudge ever. I got dairy milk and freckles. Then we went to this shopping centre for a while, kinda gay but oh well. Got back around 5 for dinner and a night preeching session. After that, there was a bonfire which eventually turned into a marshmellow fight. A group of about 12 decided that it was time to let off the larger works. We went up this massive windy hill to this amazing cliff face with a view of the coast. The moon was out and there was mist in the air with the lights of the city in the background. Soooooo nice. Got a bit noisy after that  First one we set off was a pyramid. I think it start off with all these colours and shot friggen high into the air (40m?) and let off all this crazy crap then floated down. After that was a copter. Its a phat arse cracker with wings on it. It lit up with yellow sparks then started spinning around with this high pitched screech and let off green sparks and all this crazy stuff. It was hovering around for like 6 seconds. Raddest thing. Then we let off some more widow makers that make an effing huge bang. There was a house right near us so we bunged off straight away. Another group went around and put some minichellos and widow makers in letter boxes then came back. lol... It was about 11 by the time we got back so we chilled for a bit by the fire and waited for people to head off to bed so Kaos could be caused. As time passed we became a tad bored so we got out a copter with a dud fuse and fanged it in the bonfire. On the camera you hear me say "I think its sparking" then you just see this large ass explosion like 6 foot high. That was phatness to the max. Well number one on the list was berny and lakens cabin. All their doors were locked so we opened up the blinds to see what we could do to get it in there and woke the person right next to the window. So we had to shut it and wait a while. Turns out there was a big gap under the door and we decided it would go throught there. We huddled by the door, lit it up and I chucked it under. The we played the waiting game...for 2 seconds! I heard someone say "what the frigg is that?", then you hear " SCCCCCCCCCRRRREEEEEEEEEAMMMMMMM" from the cracker and "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" from the girls then a fricked loud "BANG!!!!!!" from the cracker and another huge scream from the girls. My shot was pretty good and I got it right under someones bed! :D That was a classic but we were still pumped and decided to move next door. This was Sams cabin and all the other "ditzy" girls pretty much. Someone thought of the awesome idea of a flour bomb. Styrofome cup filled with flour and a widow maker straight down the middle. We opened the door to this cabin and lit it up. I snuck in while the fuse was burning and ran freakin quick once I planted it. Then I got out my camera and waited. First there was a small puff then this massive flare about 4 foot high sent dust and flour into the air flooding the room and then a big explosion blew the crap outta the cup and sent flour every where in their room. It was awesome as. We blamed the flour bomb on another cabin and Sam (whos stufff got totally covered) was pissed as and started banging on the other cabin and chucking rocks at it! Funny stuff  So before she figured it out, Chris and I bunged back into our cabin and locked the doors. At about 7 in the morning Sam went back the the cabin and attempted to cover to of the people in it (andy and alan) with flour. They were already prepared with sleeping bags over their heads and ended up duming flour all over Sam. Turns out Sam found out who it was and tried to get into our cabin. I didnt realise what she was doing cause I was still mega sleepy. The door was locked so she went and got some keys. With someone from the other cabin (simon), Sam charged in, threw down a fire cracker and dumped flour all over Chris and I. Lol, yeah, she got us back. Then it was pretty much screwin around for the rest of the day.

Fire crackers are fricken awesome. I still have a minichello, widowmaker and a throw down. Next weekend we are using roman candles and copters for a mates bday. Hell yeah

Peace
-Jesse

Jesse, I need some footage from this month, if you have any.
It will be the latest installment from 'Space Goat!' when I get it and edit it. ;)

That is... the OCTOBER episode of the BCS! Including footage from the Milo demo we did.

one Anthony Hagen inspired this little installment in the BCS saga!

Moments before this trick, Jesse fended off hordes of lusting young women - all in the name of footbag!

I played last night.
There was the threat of stormes and much rain, so I figured not many people would be going in. Just in case, I took my CD player.
Lucky I did as it turns out that everyone appreciated the tunes for the evening.

I finally hit a drill twice. Once before Caroline turned up, and once after. I still get hung up on some of the links. clip>mirage>ss butter>far switch>opp butter>mirage>ss butter>far switch>opp butter
I practiced starting on different tricks, but still found myself going to far switch when I shouldn't or ss butter when I should be going for opp
I also 'footed' PS whirl twice.
I had a good night, although my knee is still sore.
The results from my visit to the specialist is that I should do more cycling and/or swimming to strengthen the muscles around the knee. That sucks because I won't get the opportunity to do either, really.

Like I said, Caroline came in last night. We didn't circle kick, at all, just solo'd. I saw her hit a sweet osis - the set was nice and straight and high. She also hit Clipper BSOS. Also, her clipper set mirages are Sooooo like Carol Weidemire (?SP), it's really cool to see. Generally, her style is very similar too.

We might organise a mid week shred.

Take it from me... pushing yourself to play is not always the best option.
Sometimes it's good to have a break.

There are no Milo demos this weekend... you wanna have a kick, Jesse?
