Who did the first uptime dexes?

Post by Slowsis »

General footbag history question.....

Who was it? What was the first "set"? Pixie? Fairy? Stepping even......

I would assume that ATW was the first uptime dex that later turned into pixie.

Just a guess.

I would assume that symposium dlo was the first uptime dex, and that it later turned into shooting.

Just a guess.

Then again, assuming and guessing aren't worth much.

Which creates another question....has anyone done an uptime component out of a flyer?
Some of my dragonfly kicks are hit earlier than they are supposed to....almost creating a stepping set style motion.

what about first genuine uptime set? I mean set that is completely finished well before the bag reaches its equinox and can be done with a various number of downtime components after the set.

if you look at some of the really old video's, the first sets you see are pixies. i think stepping came about the same time or slightly after, though that could be wrong. it's not that i've heard this from anywhere, just what i've seen from old videos.
