how does one know when their 32 is broken in?

I just got my first 32 panal (a regular abshire) and have been working it on and off to break it in, but is there a point at which you just know the bag is broken in?

When the colors in the fabric turn into a slightly lighter shade of what they were originally, then it is broken in.

If you want you can just use bleach on it.

Don't give stupid advice to people that don't know you're just being a dumbass.

I don't think there is any one point when a bag is broken in, there is more of a break in process than one specific point.
In general a bag will keep getting better and better over time until it dies.

I knew he wasn't being serious Mosher. Still didn't appricate him saying it though, it was an honest question. Just was wondering if there was a certain feel when you know it's "just right." Figure that about answers my question though.

It doesnt really matter when its "broken in" sometimes bags are great to play with even when they arent broken in. But generally, when you dont have to try SOOOO hard on delaying it, it may be broken in

Reggie - if it's true that you've been kicking only for 8 days: you're bag most likely isn't broken in. Actually if you're only kicking, the broken-in-ness of the bag isn't a big problem. A not broken in bag causes more problems when you try to delay it (especially on the inside surface), with a toe-box not even very much.

All you can do to break in the bag is kicking (;)) with it and sometimes washing it.

oh, I know. And it's somewhere around 2 weeks I'm into kicking/delays now. The abshire was a gift to me otherwise I'd not have it at all. I'm not really in a rush, the whole question was based upon me reading people saying things like their bag is half broken in or 80% broken in which made me wonder how they're gauging it.

A bag is broken in when it "sits," kinda like a yo-yo. It wont have much roll at all, you'll thrown it with arc on a table and it'll just plop down. you can feel a broken in footbag in your hands because the material doesnt 'fight back" when you roll it in your hands, its super soft and does whatever you want it to. You can poke a broken in bag with your finger and the material stays the way you poked it rather than having "a recoil effect" or 'bounce back." A broken in bag is like having a pet rock instead of a bouncy ball.
