Carving with Hebel

Post by NotHisRealName »

I'm wondering if anyone else had tried carving before?
I've got my hands on a block of Hebel and have decided that I might try carving out one single Laver (probably right). If it turns out any good, I'll carve the left and then a bag.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with carving or more specificly, carving with Heble as the medium?

Could you please describe more specifically what carving is? (For some reason my dad's famous English pocket dictionary from 1978 didn't give me such a translation for the word that I'd understand :D).

I thought carving had something to do with downhill skiing, because there are special carving skis for it. :D

Or is it a shoe mod? Or does it mean that when people make "statues" out of pumpkins? :D

I'm kinda lost.
