Haven't had a chance to listen to your song yet Matt but I will eventually. Session tonight, because I might go home for the weekend, not as many 5's as the last session, I'm just as pleased.

gyro diving clipper... never tried it before
eggplant bs first try ever with flip atomic
omellete bs
several thin and the fusions.. and at least 1 maybe 2 good fusions
RUBBERRRRMAAANNN!!!

I don't know about you guys... but I think after a year of trying I finally figured out atomic. (approx. 7 of 10 tries on either side results in a useable atomic set)

I don't know what made me try this, but a small twist in the hips and pointing my toes together results in consistent, chest high atomic sets on both sides.

(edit) haha.. after everytime i post in this blog, i try a new move/combo that i couldn't quite get during the session, but then hit it... reactor is the new one tonight

props!!! i know how you wanted that set, i think itll add a bunch to your game. i believe after the last time you hit 3 contacts of rubberman i said, now repeat it, and you said "yeah maybe in a year" haha, nice.

dude, why didnt you call me!? i totally would have played tonight, i was complaining to cleaver today online that there was no one around to play with today because i didnt get out of class till 5.

Thanks for the props paul. Yah I will definitely be throwing more atomic stuff into my game.

As for calling you, I start playing at 2 AM and didn't plan on playing very long, but played for almost 2 hours. The last few sessions I have had have started around midnight. I don't really feel like leaving my apt. that late and there isn't really enough space in my room for more than 1 person. I'll definitely make a better attempt at getting some more non-solo sessions, considering 5 out of the last 6 times I have played have been solo.

here's my new climas, modded yesterday as soon as I got them. I tore right into them! I only made one tiny tiny tear of one little piece of clima-mesh, I think this is the best mod job I've done on any pair of shoes I've had.

Image

and now for some pics of last night.

the quote that explained this next picture is one of my favorite lines of the night....

"Dude, it cost like $40, but I'll be able to use this down the line..."

here is me wearing a milk carton mask.

here is footbag player Paul Taylor dressed like an amish guy. I saw him hit toe stall> clipper stall > far osis in the hugest cowboy boots you've ever seen last night. Those who have seen Paul's feet know what I'm talking about.

The party was okay, we bought wayyyy too much beer, so looks like we've got another partying coming next week ;) Chris Dean was at the party, sorry I didn't take a picture of him doing something cool. We shredded in the living room and talked about footbag to all the party people. I hit superfly and mullet while just goofing around, that was fun.

new moves for yesterday, fairy ss drifter, fairy gyro pickup (really goofily performed). Chris Dean confirmed cleanliness on rev whirling symp swirling osis. Fun times.

Aric has officially converted to the side of the climas! Thanks Matt :)

Today's session went really well, chris was well chris.. cool combos, hit everything on command.. everyday stuff from him. Matt had a couple really long awesome strings, and saw some other cool stuff from him of course.

Strings were awesome today for me, everything felt good and I wasn't getting tired. Hit rubberman again, and then followed it with some light stuff. Hit some new moves and combos.

tap > atom smasher (rpt)
smudge > omellete (need to repeat this nex time)
atomic zulu clipper
gyro weaving osis
spinning zulu osis... unsealed (next time)
frantic ss butterfly > blur > frantic ss butterfly (was too excited to go for last blur.. but probably could have fairly easily)
reverse mullet rake (informal request by joe k.)

followed the session with a 4 mile run... I'm BEAT (haven't ran in almost 2 years)

My weekend started with being stood up by my cousin who was supposed to take me home to a big party.. that kind of pissed me off. But i got in touch with my first year roommate, who is awesome, and we drank all weekend. I might be moving in with him soon, because my roommate now is a lil weird... So this weekend started bad, but things went really well and I'm in one of the best moods that i have been in a long time. But it ends tonight with work... and fear of this stupid presentation i have tomorrow on the neurophysiology of persuation...

Aric did so well in Climas. I was so happy to see Zulu pdx Torque from him again, that is an INSANE move. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else even hit that. Lon Smith could...

My game went pretty well yesterday... I footed atomic zulu mirage SO many times, I was getting some huge blastoff sets right over my head with our NEW Lesh bag! I think it's Chris's... As far as I know, I didn't actually hit any new moves, but I felt strong, and I had some good shreds. Fairy sets were doing a bit better, but i think I forgot them by the middle of the session. I want to have those in my game SOLID.

My new climacools felt great, they required no breakin time whatsover. You just mod them, and they're immediately awesome. In fact, compared to my beat and somewhat worn, broken-in climas, I prefer them new...

I am at work. I am SO hungry. I need to eat better and more frequently. I had an UNhealthy weekend. and next weekend is going to be even worse.

Huge party at my house next week. Hope everyone who's around can make it. We have a LOT of beer left.
