I think someone already asked a similar question to this, but it was for a school project and they needed an actual book. To answer you question, yes, there is a footbag book.

Pictures speak a thousand words.
I can see no reason why a book would sell when there's plenty of online information, including videos, available for free.

And besides, it's easy enough to list a web site or forum page in your list of references.

A footbag book would be great for our sport !

The problem is that you will have to do a lot of work to publish the book .

Maybe there is an opportunity to write a book as an accumulation of different articles by different authors . something like an internetbook which make sure that everybody could participate .

I tried to get the ball rolling but there were no people who were willing to help so it was another idea which ends in talking ...

I think it is very obvious why a book is important for the growth of a sport .
just think about it, books are nice gifts, are available everyday , will be seen in your shelf by various people, are aimed at another group of people than online resources ...

If there are any people who want to revive my book project feel free to contact me and I will figure out what it takes to get things working .

My plan was to make a real sport book - like a schoolbook/textbook which is available in most other sports too .

I've got a lot of material accumulating for a book. Lots of historical data, interviews, ect. My plan is to travel and do more interviews with a long list of people, particularly with old school freestylers in Oregon and also with some Europeans. I want to give not only the story and evolution of freestyle but also personal stories of the people involved. I've got a pretty good start. Someday it'll probably get done but right now I'm a busy man.
