Its cool if jesse doesn't want to post about what he has hit. I actually admire him, and i wish i could do it, but i like gloating and getting props too much.

mirage>pixie ss mirage rpt 11 contacts

clip>sidewalk>legover rpt 5 contacts

Some nice runs.

Wellllllllllllllll this is my 1000th post!

I might do a bit of a Robin and talk about my footbag career.

Started hackin grade 6. Got into freestyle around grade 8. Playing on and off since then. Playing guiltless at the moment. I have made heaps of friends over the years through footbag. I will mention them but I wont write stuff about them cause Im a lazy ass :P

In no particular order:

Mah main man Robin, Joey K, Henry G, Byrin W, Rory D, Gareth W, Caroline B, Forra and Rory W, Jeremy O, Dan E, Alex U, Ian P, Dyalan G, Ken S :D , Jason P, Adam F, Phil M, Jamieson H, Nic B, Hacky R (ichard), James R, Lise T, Anssi S, Tom M, John F and K-reg.

Sorry if I forgot anyone. I tried my best.
All these people...
Oh shit. I forgot Hagesy...lol

I have a feeling I forgot some other people too. Just add yourself to the list if I did.

All thes people have played some sort of role to getting me where I am in footbag today. All you guys are awesome even though I havent met more than half of you in person! I one day hope that I can though.

Now to talk about todays sesh.

wellll I rocked up to the train station at around 9:50 to see Gareth just pulling up after picking up Ken and Jeremy from the train station. I didn't quite know what to expect from Ken but I thought he would be a pretty cool guy from what people have said and stuff. Turns out all of them were right! Ken is an awesome guy and it's gonna be cool hanging out with him again tomorrow. Jeremy was pretty farkin tired and a bit quiet.

We were all feeling hungry so went and got ourselves a feed. Ken's had a kebab with too much chilli sauce on it. He thought it would be sweet chilli but it turned out being hot as. We chatted about the aussie chicks and what not then headed off to Gareths house to chill out for a bit.

Ken was fixing up his Guido units while we all watched the Madonna dance around half naked and the pokemon movie. After like, an hour and a bit, we decided it was time for a shred. We went off to Southbank and had a shred infront of the beachy area. I though Ken was playing fricken crazy hitting long runs and something like 6 unique fearless. He plays very quickly and I like his style alot! Jeremy was also playing well hitting something like whirlygig>pswhirl>pswhirl and long genuine runs. Gareth wasnt playing too bad hitting some cool stuff like tripwalk midrun and Caroline was doing lots of hopovers, walkovers and mirages. I will expect to see a big improvement in her clippers if she keeps schooling those things. Oh yeah, Jeremy also did like a fakie pdx dlo, completley bailing from the first dex and hitting a normal ss legover. It was mega trippy 8)

After about an hour we had to move cause some other guy was doing a busking show. We went to the usual main spot at the piazza and got straight into it. Ken was going hard with mega long runs and big moves, same with Jeremy. Gareth hit a cool combo of smear>dim>ducking osis>farlegover>fall over>army roll.

We shredded it up for a while then had some random guy come up to us and ask if he could take some video. His camera battery died so he played a bit of hack with us instead. Turns out he lives (or goes to uni or something) around where David Clavens lives. So Ken gave him some details on how they could get in touch and stuff. He was a really cool guy.

It was time for some four square to cool down. I was a bit of a n00b as I had only played it once before but I still did ok. Jeremy kept getting me out though :x and Ken won once...or twice. Lol, Jeremy one once aswell over a controversial play. Kens arm was over the line so Jeremy hit it and called contact. Then Jeremy got out for no reason. Lol, suck on that Jay. After four square we chilled out and chucked around the milo footbags aiming to falcon eachother. Jeremy has a bad throw.

Thats pretty much the day. Tomorrow should be sweet

Peace out fellow shredders
-Jesse

Props jesse props

wow i had an alright session last night

hit reverse swirl on my flip it is ready for drilling

i struggle with swirls, i footed it but i need to some more research, perhaps i should crank my ankles more.

Drilled pdx dlo
butter>pdx dlo>mirage rpt new record=10 contacts

Drilled my double dexes, I am very happy with these i didn't beat my old record but came close. I can hit doubles like cake on my strong side and probably 2 every 3 tries on my flip

Drilled drifters, equalled my previous record, these are coming along alright.

Drilled symp mirage. These are excellent.
mirage>symp mirage>legover rpt new record= 28 contacts
This was first try
I have now changed this drill to smear>symp mirage>pixie legover, it is hard to pixie out of symp on flip.

Drilled whirls. My flip was terrible, i was getting the dex probably 8 out 10 tries, and it kept falling off my clipper, maybe more ankle crank. I have a few ideas with this one so i will give it a go.

Played for 2 hrs.

peace
hagesy.

I will do them tonight, thanks for the challenges.

Props on your exams, don't think it is a fluke, i think you are just smart.

Tried to hit Haze last night (Stepping ss dlo) came close a few times but no cigar.

Then i shredded for about an hour. I shred at almost a guiltless level now. However my drifter, whirl, stepping i can only do solidly from clipper at the moment, it will come but. Lots of butter, osis, ducking, diving, pixies, double dexes, some atomic and the stuff mentiioned above. My game is coming along alright and i hope to be guiltless by nationals, I also hope to have spins down as well.

Hit 20 smear b.s
Hit 20 dimwalk b.s
Hit 20 parkwalk strongside
hit 6 parkwalk flipside, i was too pooped, I will finish them off tonight.

Yo mods post in the bcs too, woot.

Apparently you have a potty mouth jesse

14 flip parkwalks (finish off yesterdays work)
flip pixie is better than strong pixie sometimes and worse than my nans hip at other times

10 pixie ss mirage b.s

5 strong terrage
I like this trick alot, might go for terraging as a set in the future

5 strong phoenix
I am confident that i could throw this in strings now

Hit flip terrage.
first 5 goes felt so unko, then i thought about what i was doing and hit it clean as

Hit flip Phoenix
This felt really good, it would be cool if i could bsos this at nationals.

Challengers for jesse
Dimwalk>blur b.s
blur>dimwalk b.s
I will repeat these for you at nationals
ripwalk>blur b.s

peace

Hey, Jesse. I'd appreciate it if you put a leash on that. Moderated, or not, it's still derogatory and not a good use of the english language. We all curse and swear every now and again - I know I do. But don't be excessive about it, and think about what you're writing before you hit the submit button.
Thanks.

hmmm. I hardly ever swear, In person and on modified. I dont see how using "gay" as an adjective for something lame can offend anyone but gays, which I dont think any would read my blog.

!
Hey Jesse, do you remember the example I gave you in person? Imagine for a second that in America, people used the word "Aussie" to describe lame things.

American #1: "Hey, did you see the movie Pearl Harbor?
American #2: "Yeah, it was so Aussie. The acting sucked, it took forever, and the dialogue was unbelievably Aussie."

Weird isn't it?

If a Canadian overheard that conversation, he'd likely be more puzzled than anything else. He'd probably think something like: "the word 'Aussie' refers to the quality of being Australian. I wonder why these dumb Americans are using it to mean 'lame?' How odd."

Now, if an Australian went to America for a few weeks, its likely nobody would realize he was Australian until he opened his mouth to say something. Could you, as an Australian, imagine how weird/uncomfortable it would feel to hear people all over the place using the adjective "Aussie" to mean "sucky"?

I'm not Australian, but after spending a month here, I've made a few good Australian friends, and overall like the country. If I heard people using the word "Aussie" to describe shitty things, I don't think I'd get angry, or upset. But it would bother me, and I'd probably ask people to stop using it, since it's unfair and inaccurate. People who use the word "Aussie" to mean "lame" just make themselves look ignorant. If some bogan hillbilly in America used "Aussie" in a derogatory way, I might not correct him. But if an intelligent, footbagging friend of mine did, I'd try and set him straight. I'm not Australian, but I would be bothered by the derogatory misuse of the word "Aussie", and I'd try and discourage its use amongst my friends.

Can you see where I'm coming from?
