I hope it really happens too. If not, someone else should hold a jam around the same area (hint hint).

dammit! i was spending hours trying to figure out if i could go  however, i think NY should host a jam sometime soon! there is a bus that goes from boston to NY for 10 bucks, if you go in the middle of the night. that would be so perfect... as flash said...east must jam!

Sorry if CP is gonna happen, but yeah, what they said. Go to Chitown and unite. It's already November and nothing has been confirmed, so why not make some New Years plans for over in Chicago. It'd be good to see a nice turnout at NYJ with players that aren't normally there...there. :) I'm savin my pennies to take the trip up, and I hope anyone that usually goes to CP can make it out to the other location. It might be a bit further, but just think about how many players will be changing their New Years plans from Philly to Chicago, and then the players that are already going to Chicago...it'll be swell. If it's just a tad too far to drive, all that means is get some more players to go in the car to split the gas price some more, put in the effort and have a helluva good vacation, we all deserve that much.

I dunno if Chilly Philly's happening or not, but usually the Chicago New Year's Jam is before it. This year, the Chicago jam is December 28-30.

This year CIC is joining in organizing it, so it's going to be better than ever. Look forward to some more info/media in the next week.

Umm, i'm not sure if you think NYJ stands for something related to New York, but to clarify NYJ stands for New Years Jam, and it takes place in Chicago, and it is fun as hell!

Seriously this is an awesome event that everyone should come and experience. There is so much fun stuff to do besides the footbag, because this jam is part of Mayor Daley's Winters Sports Fest. It's impossible not to have a great time.

So yes, this is the year for Chicago. Where will you be Dec. 28-30??? :D

All I know about CP is that I ain't running it (or any other events). Josh B. emailed me recently asking me to run it because he didn't feel like doing it (because hosting jams is part fun, part hell I suspect). When I said No, I never heard another thing. That's all I know.
