you call yourselves rollers?

isnt rollerblade like hackysack, in that it is a brand name and not the sport?

Id think you would call yourselves shredders/freestyle inliners, inliners, skaters... etc

but not rollers?

care to explain?

haha thanks for the props...workin hard...

yeah we call ourselves rollers/inliners/skaters/aggressive inliners/rollerbladers and other such things.....I use them all..not that it matters really.

skaters is a term wich gets mixed up with skateboarding (not that i have anything against skateboarders) but it is annoying to explain sometime (same happens in footbag to me...lots of explaining :-\)

rollerbladers and inliners sometimes gives people a wrong image of fake fitness skates with plastic wheels, i don't like that.

but yeah it doesn't really matter..aggressive inline probably works the best but when we had to "describe ourselves" in science class, i said that and my teacher asked if it means i just rollerblade, knocking people over.....

so i suppose that aggressive inliners/rollers work the best...but rolling is mostly used by people in the sport or that are familiar with the sport (such as "footbag"-my parents refuse to call it footbag.....)
