What would this move be called

Post by jtownfootbagger »

I just recently have been working on a move with add-ons i am hoping someone can tell me what move this is.
Toe delay,to inside delay, to neck delay
[del],[del],[uns]
when i go from inside delay to neck delay i step over the footbag as it is stalled then flick i up to make it look cooler

So you're saying you do a toe delay, inside delay, step-over to neck delay? it's a sequence of moves, but can't really have a name as it's different moves.

Flipsider forums newbie section said it best with "If you cannot hit 5s and 6s, or don't know the difference between Mobius and Marius, then it's 99.8% sure that you didn't invent a move/trick. "

wait. thats what always confused me about skatboarding though. please dont laugh at me. cause. in tony hawk....when you play horse. a string of moves is called "inventing a move". is that what skaters say?

when i skated a string of moves was NOT inventing a move. also add an outside delay just to spice things up.
Every man has their technique, and they are all different......when you know mine.....youll be dead.

I skate...have been a few years. A string of moves linked together, if I'm thinking of the right thing, is what I'd call a "combo". If anyone here knows any skateboarding trick names, then they'll understand this.

There is a kickflip, and a 50-50 grind, for example. If you kickflip alone, it's a kickflip. If you do a 50-50, it's a 50-50. If you kickflip into 50-50...then it's not a new move, just...."Kickflip to 50-50". I suppose this is a good example of that, except with footbag.

I hold to the doctrine of just busting huge, not thinking about the technical side of stuff unless you have to, and telling everybody how awesome you are.

But it is good to know how the technical stuff works anyways, just in case you end up needing it at some point, so here's my answer to your question.
This is actually a combo of four separate moves. The combo would be called
"Toe Delay to Inside Stall to Walk Over to Neck Stall"
or if you prefer
"Toe Delay > Inside Stall > Walk Over > Neck Stall"
or just
"A Phatty Combo"

I say "Inside Stall" rather than "Inside Delay" in this case because it's an extended contact (for the Walk Over.)

Great job. Try hitting it on your flipside.
i like to kick the little footbag thing around and move my legs around it and stuff
