and now it's update time, it's been over a month now and im running strong, every now and again i want to smoke pot or do something but i've refrained and am proud to say that drugs are behind me, for the most part, i want to see how long i can go before i break down.
PROPS!! :D

I am now one of the happy weed-free people!

It hasn't been that long yet, but I am being very strong, I am stoked to have *smoking* weed in my past. I may still get high now and then via other methods eventually, but I no longer smoke anything. My body is very happy now. :)
my lungs are feeling alot better(but im still a smoker soo its definately not like theirs any major healing going on) but the rest of my body is definately thanking me for stopping, my head is amazingly clear and my body is nimble and reflexive, it's amazing!...but yes i also will get doing the same with other methods of things, but ill never touch that devil weed again, unless of course i make the 6 month point, in which i will be smoking my face off for the day then stopping again!(maybe)

i smoked cigarettes for about 5 years (i started at age 14) and smoked weed (start at age 15) for 7 years.
now i am 23 and i quit smoking cigarettes a good while ago, when i was 19. i also quit smoking weed at nearly half a year.

it all came, when i went to the doctor for a blood check. the result was, that i have too less red blood corpuscles. i told her, that i smoke weed 2-3 times a week (of course it was much more, but i don´t wanted to tell the whole truth). my doctor said: "well, maybe it has something to do with the blood problems!? Can you quit smoking marihuana for about six weeks? Then we should check it again..."
In the end, i stopped smoking weed now for nearly half a year now and i haven´t been to the doctor again. maybe, i am just afraid, that is has NOTHING to do with it and i have the permission again to smoke. i would not be that happy with it, cause it would be harder to control myself.

right now, i feel very controlled. i smoked once in the 6 months with a good friend while watching tv. i guess, that is ok. i won´t quit it to death and i wanna allow myself to smoke on some special days. i just don´t wanna end again in that daily behaviour, that stole me some years and just had left smoke in my brain...

to everyone, check it out, if you really want to. if you are unsure about, let it be. but always remember, that it should be a stimulant, like chocolate or coffee. too much of it kills you. keep it controlled and balanced!!
[p.s. this is NO calling to take drugs!!!]

Dude, if I were you I'd go to the doctor just in case it's something serious. I'm pretty sure that you wouldn't crack and start doing ganja again if you've now been already 6 months dry.

Like I've said, I've never tested any drugs (nor tobacco, nor alchohol in a hard way (i.e. I know what alchohol tastes like:)). I drink coffee but I'm not addicted. I can even live without candy - I pretty much never buy candy with my own money (excluding some trips) and a couple of years ago I was *1 year* without eating any candies (it was a bet with my dad; I got 600 Finnish marks ~100€ after that. I had no health problems, I just did it for money  ).
Right now I feel an addiction growing. I’ll go to shred. :)

thanks, i originally put it up here for a bit of extra support, but now that it's swayed towards everyone helping everyone else out im happy that it's here, it's helped me out support wise and i try to help everyone else out on here, drugs definately hinder everything i did and now that im off them i feel much better..
it's funny because i smoke salvia whenever i have a craveing and it totally kiss my craveing, but only because of the reason that the shit scares me to death!! it's pretty funny when i come out of an intense trip but it works wonders.

wicked relapse. its not that i cant quit...i just dont REALLY want to.

but, i also decided a lot else is wrong in my life, so i decided to try to take a week off from
-swearing
-hanging out with friends
-talking online (i wasnt even going to post on modified, but i wanted to in the evolution thread)
-watching tv

and try to
-communicate as little as possible
-focus on schoolwork
-read more
-eat more healthy
-meditate, consider my character, goals, motivations
-get away from a lot of dumb drama with my friends
-RELAX

i started last night...feelin somewhat better already. i realized i definitely focus on a lot of unimportant stuff.

I had quitting cigarette's as a resolution for the 1st of November, but then things at work just pissed me off, so I put it off. I'm not even going to fathom quitting herb for a while because it does calm me quite a bit.

But, so this is set in stone (unless the mods take it off :)), I'm making an official statement that I'm going to stop smoking cigarettes come New Year's. Even if I'm at a bar.

Yeah, I know. It's the fact that I work at Burger King that makes me kill a pack every few days.

At first, I'd made the pact with myself that I'd quit on my 21st. Then I decided to move it to the 1st of November (which is a couple months ahead of schedule), and now, I have it in writing...well, typing.

And, if I get that feeling that I want one way too much during the first week or so and I do go back, I'm getting the patch because I don't feel like breaking another commitment. I don't like doing that. It makes me feel shitty.
