i'm afraid i don't know whirlwar 1. i might have to steal the spinning/ osis drill. sounds like that would really help my spinning/ zooming.
a nice stepping/pixie one sided drill i used to do...
stepping clipper> sidewalk> schmoe> magellan> parkwalk> stepping far legover> pixie clipper> rpt
some times i try to mute them all too. lots of fun.

Minus the last Osis on that drill and it is good to go Andrew. Whirl War 1 is simply Pdx Whirl > Whirl, a really good drill for stepping sets
.
Today, despite standing at work for about 7 hours, my legs were good for a kick. My right knee was a bit bothersome since I've been a bastard and not doing my stretches so serves me right. With that little hinderance I couldn't really do much in the way of stepping or pixie but...
- Drifter x 16
- Toe Drifter > Stepping ss Mirage x 3
- Toe Drifter > Blurry Legover x 3
- Atom Smasher x 9 on two occasions
- Whirling xBody Rake bs
- Atomic Torque third attempt since Hackrifice
my ankle felt really good today

Friday at the YMCA was pretty good. It was a real laid back session but we all hit some sweet stuff. Rory made history this session with the first ever (confirmation please?) toe set double spinning trick! We also played a game where we had to try and hit the longest string. That was really fun!
Saturday Kevin and I attended a rave, where we spray painted a footbag flourescent orange and then played in the black light. I had a few good things but nothing too outstanding.
I guess there wasn't too many highlights. My ankle is feeling better, which is good, but on Friday my hip hurt after attempting Witchdoctor > Atomic Drifter. My knee also started hurting but I don't know what caused it. Had some things unsealed too, things that I would like to hit for Seattle...
- Blurriest > Sidewalk > rpt off the foot
- Blurry Whirl > Sidewalk > Blurry Whirl > Sidewalk > run > Ripwalk > Stepping Whirl > Ripwalk > Stepping Whirl off the foot :/
- Pixie Whirl > Blurry Whirl bsos
- Stepping Drill first attempt at the end of Friday's session
Man I can't remember a damn thing that happened
. Today I'm letting my legs rest, and tomorrow after work I think I'll have a kick. We'll see.

Check your PM James. Thanks for the consolation Kevin and Joe. It's good to know some people care out there
I've been real busy working and trying to get everything planned out for our trip to Seattle. Footbag hasn't been going so well since I'm usually fairly tired after work but I'm trying my best. Thursday I worked from 8am until 9pm - the normal 8.5 hour shift plus 4.5 hours of overtime
. The paycheck should be good.
Friday resulted in a pretty good session at the YMCA, despite my knee acting up. We met a fellow who seems very interested in footbag, and I hope he comes out more often. Some highlights:
- Alpine Mobius (no plant) first attempt ever
- Pendulum set Mobius
- Pendulum set Vortex
- Drifter > Vortex > Drifter > Vortex > run
- Zooming Vortex a lot
- Double Pickup > Muted Pixie Clip > Vortex off the foot (felt stylie)
- Tapping Osis > Vortex bs
Guess that is about it. My knee was really acting up, which bummed me out. I'll just need to do my stretches and hope for the best. Last night my arms were giving me such weird problems - it felt like they were not getting any circulation and the middle fingers on both hands would become extremely painful. My arms felt really weak and it also hurt on the inside of my biceps. I could barely use a fork and knife this morning for breakfast :/
If it doesn't feel any better by tomorrow I'm going to get it checked out.

Cheers. It's good to know that cat is safely jumping right over that mine. That mine got so pwn3d.
Filming myself for a video is extremely frustrating, especially when you go through 16 batteries - 16 *nearly dead* batteries. It allowed me to get a few good runs but damn it, only for like, 30 minutes of playing. I couldn't really hit what I want but still managed a few good things I guess.
I'm just drilling a lot of things for Seattle - DLOs, Drifters, Torques, zooming and spinning, double downs, Whirls, atomic/pixie/stepping sets and whathaveyou. I've managed some neat drills and links, which you will hopefully see in an upcoming short video only for my fellow blog-readers

Hey Kevin, remember that time when we called Byrin's outside of Albertson's?
Kevin: Is Byrin there?
Byrin's pop: He's not here, eh?
Kevin: Okay, thank you. I'll call back later.
*A burst of laughter from both of us that probably made us sound like hyeenas.*

So Seattle has come and gone without anything lost or hindered, except my sleep. It was such a great event and I met even greater people. I can't beleive I shredded with Red, Jorden, Peter, Lon, Jim, Daryl, Ricky and Justin. Wow
!.
I'll have to write about it tonight or something, but I played real well throughout the weekend and got a lot of positive feedback. I had Spinning Matador off my foot twice, Pdx Barroque off my foot, Alpine Atomic Drifter off my foot, and hit Gyro Barroque and Morpheus for the second time each. That was tight.
Friday I kicked for a total of around... 4 hours. Saturday it tallies up to around 9 - 10 hours and then Sunday only another 4 or 5. The shows we went to were awesome, except the part that I choked in front of an audience when we did Rippin' Run and I dropped 3rd contact in. Shit
.
But yeah, if I could I would do it all again. Even though I didn't do very well in the competition, it was still a great learning experience. I really can't wait until next year

So I've been feeling like I haven't been posting my usual "today was a good day, here's what I hit" stuffs in my blog. Well, today was a good day for shred. Here's what I hit (and in chronological order
):
- Gyro Clipper x 22 (new record)
- Mirage x 5 > Legover x 5 > Mirage x 5 > Legover x 5 > Illusion x 5 > Pickup x 5 > Illusion x 5 > Pickup x 5 > Mirage x 5 > Legover x 5 > Mirage x 5 > Legover x 5 > Illusion x 5 > Pickup x 5 > Illusion x 5 > Pickup x 5 > Mirage x 2
- Pixie ss Pickup > Magellan > Smear > Smudge > Pixie ss Mirage x 4
- Stepping ss Clipper > Blurry Clipper x 3
- Ripwalk x 3 > Sidewalk x 3 > Ripwalk x 3 > Sidewalk x 3
- Eggplant > Tapping Legover x 4 unsealed
- Atomic Pickup > Tapping Pickup x 2
- Butterfly > Torque > Pdx Mirage x 4 (working on linking out of Torques)
- Gyro Clipper > Diving Clipper x 2
- Spinning Ducking Clipper > Diving Clipper > Ducking Clipper bs
Yeah, so it wasn't too shabby - mostly just drilling sets and working on Diving Clippers and more atomic stuffs. Tomorrow I shall work on Drifters, Whirls, DLOs, Double Downs and Torques, then Friday is shred-at-the-YMCA day. I don't have to babysit Saturday, so I will take advantage of that by maybe doing more focused drilling. Sunday will be Morrowind day, where I take it easy and park my ass infront of the computer playing Morrowind
