Today, I fell, but...
yeah, but the first sentence in the whole post mentions his left side clipper, then his opposite side pickup, that makes me think "far pickuping" (quasi) same reverse whirling dex > clipper. Except you can't do a reverse whirling dex with the bag is on the inside of your leg, it has to go back under your leg while you do the dex, and that makes me think same double over down.
Does anyone else see the "far" part? or is that just me?

I see your point.
Anyone got video of the trick ? That would be the easiest way to figure it out.
O'Wheely notation might help for this one too.
If it's quasi, it could just be a paradox whirl done like a quasi bent knee clipper.
Paradox whirl done in a funky way, that's my final answer.

I don't see what's so complicated, it sounds to me like...
Either:
"far pickup (no plant with dexing leg) ss reverse whirl"
or
(*Directed at Switch Kicker*)
....if the first dex is with the foot that didn't set the bag...
then, it's:
"stepping (no plant with dexing leg) ss reverse whirl"
Personally, I think it would be more fun (not to mention 'clean'-able)if there were "plants" in between each dex.

See, we have at least four people who don't see what's so complicated. Too bad none of us agree on what this trick IS, but we can agree that it can only be about 18 different things from the description.
If only there was some way we could describe tricks consistently.

...There's only 2 dexes... There is no stepping at all, this isn't step set.
Ok, I think I might be able to clear this up. If I set a trick with my right foot, in a right foot, left side, clipper, and then dex it, with the setting foot, being my right foot, from a right foot, left side clipper, would that be a clip>op dex, or a clip>ss dex?
Just answer that, and I will be able to clear this up in an instant.

I read it before I posted dude, and it didn't tell me anything I didn't already know. It didnt' mention anything about whether or not a right foot left side clip to a right foot dex is a clip>ss dex or not. Anyhow.
Ok, here it is.
clip>ss in(Hippy)>ss out(Leggy)>op clip
The ss in dex hippy and teh ss out dex leggy are in one motion, with out changing the direction that my legs are moving.
You are telling me that a muted means I didn't plant my leg to change direction of my dex, that's becuase I didn't, my legs never stop the rotation to go back in the other direction.
Can you make sense of that, or is there a more advanced tuturial you can give me, because that tut didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. Just explained what ss, op, clip, toes are and hwo to put it all in a sentence and how to say out to in and in to out and how to say a dexterity, and such, which, all of which I already knew.

For those confused about how I parse the latest description
Okay, same side dex like a mirage, done hippy. Sounds a whole helluva lot like a stepping set to me. I see this as the right foot sets the bag, and the left leg does a hippy mirage type dex. Left leg does the dex, since the right foot is setting the bag on the left side of the body. It's the only option I find consistent with the SS description given.
Same side leggy dex. So the leg that just did the "hippie mirage" does a reverse mirage or a reverse whirl type dex. The dex is done with the left leg, since Same Side means we haven't gone anywhere since the last dex was done on that side.
Congratulations, that's a cool ass trick.
Okay, we are starting on a clipper. Lets assume it's the right foot holding the bag, on the left side of the body.Switch Kicker wrote: clip

OP CLIP. Opposite foot of the leg which performed the last notated element does a clipper stall. This would be the right leg catching the bag in a clipper stall on the left side of the body.Switch Kicker wrote: >op clip

Can we ALL leave out the SS in jobs please?
I have noticed in this discussion the mixing of terms. ie. quasi, SS, muted, etc...
Lets look at jobs and jobs only.
Cameron, write me up a quicky javascript or PERL (your choice) jobs compiler that displays a graphical interpretation of jobs for us like the following: Clipper to Clipper

hahahahaha - couldn't resist. But a graphical tool of some sort would be nice

I'm guessing it's a muted pdx miraging ss butterfly:
O'Wheely notation.
Start with the bag in the cross body inside position on your right foot to the left side of your body. Set the bag up and bring your right foot around the bag in a clockwise direction. After going around the bag bring the right foot back around it in an anti clockwise direction. Stall the bag on your left foot in a cross body inside position on the right side of your body.
I imagine it would be very hard to make sure either of the dexes are clean and most likely we're talking about a clipper set far clipper.
The jobs if it was clean:
clip>same in>same out>op clip.
edit: the important difference between "hippy" and "leggy"
A lot of the confusion about this trick comes from the usage of the words "Hippy" and "leggy" so I thought I should explain them a little. A hippy dex is a dex that does acid and smokes weed and talks about karma and the circle of life and all that shit. These are bad and we must kill them all. Obviously a hippy dex is a dex done with the hip. Specifically what this means is that the bag passes under the line of the knee and that the leg remains straight. It can pass at ankle height or at knee height. It's the shape of the leg that makes it a hippy dex. A leggy dex is a dex where you use your leg to dex bag. In almost all cases the bag does not pass across the line of the knee at all with a leggy dex - it either stays inside the line of the knee or outside the line of the knee. The leg has to be angled and the knee bent to get the dex.
In the example given here of
clip>same in (hippy)>same out (leggy)>op clip
We can follow the path of the bag as follows. The first dex is hippy - that means the bag passes across the knee line and must be to the inside of the dexing leg. The second dex is leggy - that means it does not pass the knee line and is still inside. The move finishes on a clipper - that means the bag has to pass across in front of the knee line after the second dex. If we take those as correct and include the "reverse whirl" definition given of the second dex then we can see that at some point before the "reverse whirl" style dex (since reverse whirls are leggy dexes to the outside of the knee) the bag must pass across the knee line to the outside of the knee. Matt went with the idea that this happened with another dex - hence the quasi double down theory. I would go with two different theories.
1. The second dex is another hippy dex rather than a leggy dex.
2. The first dex doesn't occur - the bag stays to the outside of the dexing knee line and in position for the reverse whirl. That would make this move a far reverse whirl (with a little twist for the the pickup somewhere).
