Had a nice 2 hour session today. Just felt like it I guess. Didn't hit anything new I think but drilled osis, drifters and spinning mainly. Also counted some runs at the end of the session and averaged 16.2 contacts over 20 runs - which I thought was pretty good considering it was at the end of a two hour solo session. I guess I was mainly going pretty easy though although the best run was 37 contacts and had blurry whirl both sides, blurriest, ps whirl, fog, beta blur and ps whirl in it. Also a pdx eggbeater and a spinning osis
Actually it may have been more contacts - I lost count and went for the lowerest amount I was sure of. Anyway it was fun and I was feeling energetic for the first time in weeks
Yeah had a fucking crazy weekend of pretty much only partying and footbag. Have slept a total of 6 hours over the last 3 nights. Demoed today for a soccer game at half time. Crowd of 13,000 people and also appeared on national tv (apparantly - did not actually see it as the telecast was live) but we were on the big screen at the stadium. Also interviewed and announced as a holder of 4 world titles.
Had a lot of fun. Hit high plains drifter to ripwalk earlier. Have been playing ok considering the lack of sleep and energy. Can't wait to have a serious sleep.

Hey Dave!! Word up!! I think I'll send you an email
Wow stoked
So tonight I just spent $100 on one meal
(for three people) - Prawns, salad, french champagne (actual champagne) and beer from Denmark. Also because I payed for it, my brothers girlfriend cooked it
Fuck being payed to play keepy uppy sack bag is sooooooooooo fucking cool.
Yeah. Not much else I can say
Oh - I hit flurry>atomsmasher today - actually I think the run was flurry>atom>atom>leg>drop on the attempted repeat.

Yeah it makes it much more likely for me to go to worlds than it was before although I'm still really not sure. I think my general plan is to buy an expensive video camera in the next week or so and then try and get some serious promotions happening on the back of the recent nestle stuff. Also playing lots of footbag. If that happens then I'll come to worlds. If I can't make enough money specifically from footbag I won't. I guess my focus right now is really much more on the Aussie scene and the Hobart scene most importantly and the only really significant reason that was going make me come to worlds is no longer an issue. I would say what that is but I always get in trouble for saying things like that. There's lots of people I'd like to play with but it's very expensive and I'd prefer to be playing footbag than working a second job to be able to afford to go.
In other news I woke up very early yesterday, went into town, spent about 2 hours trying to sort some stuff out for somebody, couldn't. Went back into town after 3 hours sleep and having vomited upon waking up with a horrible hangover (go australia) and did sort it out, only to get an email from them that shows they have no idea what they're talking about and they seem completely ungrateful. meh - I don't know what they think - perhaps that I wouldn't do exactly what I said I would or that I don't care or something. Who knows. It's very disappointing anyway and I would develop this further but that would be counter productive.
EDIT: Also I smell bad.

Hmm, the humour of editing other peoples blogs.
Anyway the last 2 hours were probably the most stressful in my life ever. Luckily I think things have worked out. I did get to briefly hold 32 $100 notes in my hand though - that was cool although walking through a city with $3200 clutched in your hot sweaty hands (in an envelope) adds a little to the stress. Fuck, I probably lost 5 years of my life just then. Anyway I'm almost relieved now - I'm just going to have to make a phone call soon and hopefully that will confirm that everything is sorted out. Definitely some good lessons learnt.

Thought last weekend deserved a proper blog entry so here goes - don't think I'll finish it in one post but I have some time to kill.
Thursday 10th of November.
Finished work at 9 pm and got home at 9:30. Had to sort out a lot of things and was calling/emailing people until about 11:30 I think - I had 5 different groups of people to deal with: footbaggers, Sydney FC, Nestle, TMS and Take Two. One of the guys for a demo in Melbourne pulled out that day I think so I had to make sure I had somebody else to cover the event - bit stressful. Also had to confirm parking, shirts, music, times, and a host of other shit. Also payments. It ends up that over this promotion I've made over $150 worth of calls and wrote over 100 emails so I think lets you know how much work. I eventually got to sleep bed at about 2:30 am. Unfortuantly I totally forgot to charge my mobile phone which I'd been using for most of the night - this was a serious error!
Friday 11th of November
Woke up to my alarm at 4:30. Somehow managed to get up, shower and leave without breakfast by 5:00. Next few hours are very hazy. Fell asleep on plane before it took off and was awoken by stewdess after we had landed. This happened on all my flights for the weekend I think. When a plane landing doesn't wake you up - that's when you're tired! Got into Melbourne City (bus from airport) at about 9 and headed off to Jasper's place.
Jasper is a friend I've known all my life and the guy who introduced me to Hacky Sack - he's one of about 4 people who I think will almost certainly be strong friends for my entire life. Jasper had been at a party that night and didn't responded when I called.
I got to his house via tram (didn't buy a ticket) and met one of his flat mates (Amber) who I flirted with a bit while we waited for Jasper. Eventually at about 11:00 we looked in on him and discovered he hadn't actually made it home.
I actually arrived in Melbourne with about $20 to my name and had to spend $13 on a bus and $5 on lunch so only had about $2 left so I then headed into the city and went busking. Despite being very tired and by myself I managed to make over $50 in an hour - actually I made about $40 in 15 minutes and then my cd player stopped working and I made another $10 in 45 minutes
.
Finally got onto Jasper who was still at the party but said he'd meet me somewhere. Chilled in the city for a while until Alex Urano got off school. Had a kick with Alex at Fed Square. Brought back some memories. I played surprisingly well which I attribute to the countless red bulls. Hit 69 first attempt to a run and some other stff. I was really impressed with Alex's game too. Finally got a message from Jasper to know that he was at a pub and so headed off
- this was at 6pm or there abouts.
The first beer of the day was the best of my life - just a Carlton Draught on tap but I have never needed a beer like I did at that moment. Chilled with Jasper and his friends. Recall that there was a girl there who worked as a public servant and had had no sleep at all and had to do a presentation. Her powerpoint thing didn't work so she had to describe it all and apparantly after giving it she was asked by a workmate if she was on acid....
Went back to Jaspers and ate - then went out with him and some friends of his - including Ned - a guy who I went to high school with and has just come out - and a really cool guy named Owen who was wearing a red dressing gown. We went to some pub that had very cheep drinks so naturally got very hammered. Also met Betheny and Bonney who are both girls I went to primary school with for a few years (up to 1992) so that was cool. Also met up with another friend from high school who is very cool. Went to another bar that had Mountain Goat on tap - one of my top 3 favourite beers in the world. By this stage Owen had passed out behind a rubbish bin out the back. Also I tried to steal a keg of beer but not only was it empty but I was too drunk to realise. The guy laughed about it. Went to some pool hall by which stage Owen had recovered but was kicked out for being too drunk anyway. Then went to Bar Open on Brunswick st.
Apparantly a few nights before this Owen, Ned, Jasper, Bonney and some other people had been there and I think because Ned and Bonney are gay a bouncer had said something to them like "why don't you take your gay pride downstairs" to which Owen (who isn't gay) responded "why don't I shove my gay pride up your arse" - which the bouncer didn't like. Anyway he wasn't allowed in so we spent a while argueing with bouncers. Eventually Owen jumped the fence and we went in but he was quickly kicked out. He then did it again and the bouncers started getting pretty rough. I called my brother who is a law student and had a long and loud conversation right next to them about legal rights etc. After that they didn't give any trouble dispite Owen yelling abuse at them constantly for about 10 minutes non stop. "You fucking repressed homosexuals. You just want my fucking dick up your arse you fucking repressed homosexuals etc." It was definitely a highlight of the night and I think more people were entertained by him than the music. Some cops came around at one stage and spoke to the bouncers for about 5 minutes than moved to speak to Owen and I came up and said something about the law which my brother mentioned to me - which resulted in them saying "just behave yourself" and leaving with in 20 seconds
- I rock. People were impressed. After that we headed somewhere else. I don't really remember much else. Woke up in a girls bed having no idea where I was. Had to meet Jamie and Alex in city so left a nice note and left - didn't hear back from her but hope she didn't mind. I think I got 4 hours sleep.
Will continue this later with Saturday
