I feel sad.
My brother has moved to States (new island/new port) this year and he wanted to earn something about only 500 millions$ and to come back. He has got a business with his friend, I think he is a "floor-master". But, damn, his work isn't regular and he has no opportunities to become a milliarder =/ .
I and he thought that it would be simple to find a lot of good jobs with nice and regular salary, but damn.
I just spoke to him by phone and he was like " ". The first thing I thought about was: "hm... modified is such a cool and strong community and somebody gotta know what to do, what work to find and what to do!"
...somebody?
It's not really impossible to find a job. Hell, I got mine in less time than it took me to eat my lunch. Although it's a shoddy fast food joint, it's still work.
Now if he wants to make millions, I have no clue how to do that other than maybe he could lead a drug cartel.
Maybe he should invent something. You know that guy that made the pet rock made a million dollars. You see, you have to use your mind...to come up with some great idea!
Just don't let him try to revolutionize the Jump to Conclusions mat. I failed miserably at that one.

He only wanted to make 500 million dollars??? Wow. I couldn't give any advice on that, but as far as I know, it's easy to get some fast food, waiting, clerk, etc. job. If you want anything better, you gotta go to college and get some kind of degree. The higher the degree, the better the job/ more money you can earn. I guess...
Is there something wrong with Americans such that you just don't understand when people are serious or not? Obviously you can't earn $500,000,000,000 working in a regular salary job and I'm sure that everybody knows that. Mitya wants to know if anybody in America can help out his brother in finding a steady job - if he earns $500,000,000,000 that would be great I'm sure but that was just an exageration to show that he wants to earn lots of money...

watch the generalization please... especially after i had made a serious post before yours
about the site i posted about, tell ur brother to post his resume online there and employers who are looking for people to hire will contact him. He can also search for jobs on there as well. I know my dad did that when the company he worked for went backrupt. A few employers called but the old company he worked for got bought up by siemens and he was called back into work.

Is there something wrong with ausies where they dont understand american sarcasm?
Sorry Iain - you're right about the generalisation.
Devin - Sarcasm isn't funny when you're the fifth person in a row to make the exact same joke... In fact no jokes are funny when you're the fifth person to try in a row to try and say the same "funny" thing.
