Footbag in the News!

Today while I was supposed to be in 6th hour, I saw this crew filming the ELL (English Language Learners) for a community channel tv thing. I then Spoke with the photographer who is also a reporter for the local newspaper. I asked her if she would do something on footbag in high schools, and she said, "Here, take this [handing me her business card] and send me an e-mail"

!!!

Yay footbag! Now what?

I'm thinking about organizing a footbag jam for the high schools in the area, but it would have to be indoors (Minnesota's chilly), and inviting her to it. What do you guys think?!?!?!

What should I do?!?!

Sounds excellent! Try to get together with an event coordinator whose involved in your school district. Maybe you could get some of the guiltless players near your area to attend and put on awesome demos to all of the schools in the area that attend, and you could explain and show everyone what footbag is. If you can come up with a cool inter-scholactic event then I'm sure the reporter would love to cover it, along with several other reporters in your area!

yeah try and get some high level players out who can really drop some jaws. I hear Juan and Bijan are really good, and they're near you (I think).

I was thinking some inter-scholastic event! I'm not quite sure what or how...but definately. If you had any ideas for that, I would love to hear them!

On a side note: I've been trying, but I can't seem to contact Juan or Bijan
