Dave, it's prolly like what people said when lavers become popular. Why get a shoe that has huge toe boxes when you can learn to properly toe stall, ya get what i'm sprayin ? For some, it might be what they need, others no. I wanna get a pair so I can atleast have some solid say in it, until then, fitty represent without me !

a shoe cannot osis for you. hitting osis is much more than hitting the move itself, its linking to and from the trick, its controlling the trick and mastering all elements of its fluidity, which a shoe will never be able to do for a human. A G-unit simply makes hitting the osis easier. You cant tell me thats cheating or I say to you, stop playing in Lavers and start playing in high heels. Then see how long your fearless streaks are!

Why couldn't G-unit get on the bus?
'cause they didn't have 50¢.

Oh, and I tried Jim's g-units yesterday, and they're ok, nowhere near as good as I thought. Compared to Lavers the inside surface is alot better, and the weight is about the same, overall the sole provides just as much comfort, but the stock insoles kinda suck, and the toe is pretty much the same. The things I didn't like however are that it feels like the heel is way higher up (like your playing in high heels), and the ankle is sooo fat that it feels really clunky (now I know what david meant, sorry david   ). They feel much fater around the ankle, which I guess provides more support, but I don't feel that the extra support is worth the clunkyness it adds. I guess it all really depends on what you like in a shoe.

So, from the people who have gotten the Rasta style G6's on ebay, have they been pretty quality ? I've noticed those have been selling a lot cheaper than the rest of the G6's on ebay so I was just making sure that none of them have been fallin apart or anything. That and just checking the only real difference was color/price...am I correct ?

just finished a good session with mine. the only mod i have done is cutting the flaps on the toe box so i could lace them and make the box bigger, no other mods. the clipper is awsome. the toe is pretty good to. crazy support. i like them

If you guys buy a pair of g-units they might tear up quick. My brother had a pair of g-units that he walked in and they fell apart. I dont know if it is a specific type but uhh IDK.

Each pair of mine lasted about 4-5 months with heavy use. I have had the black/blue, all white, and now the black with red/grn/ylw stripes.

chances are that your brother had a different model than the G6 Low.

I shred in mine since 7 months and the only problem so far is a hole in my toe box at the big toe.

Yeah, Jim's goonits are having a similar problem the toe material is tearing apart from the side going inward, he said he tried to sew it, glue it, everything. It looks to me like you just have to mod the toe really carefully.

just finished modding them.(for now)

On the toes, there were 3 layers. leather, super thin canvas, and a grippy layer that i just don't know how to describe.
On the sides, there was leather, rubber, foam, and then the grippy layer.

On the toes, the middle layer was so connected to the leather that I had to remove them together.
The same was true for the rubber and the foam on the sides.

Edit: First session complete. I started out not really getting them. They were heavier, and the bag rolled off of the clipper a lot.

About 20 minutes in I just tried to do osis. Osis osis osis osis. I was able to do 3 in a row, with my weak side getting the two. I call this a sucess, but I've never just tried to do osis for 15 minutes straight either.

So my clippers adjusted, and took advantage. I broke my infinity record, with 9. I hit lots of swirls, and a couple reverse swirls.

When I switched back to lavers for about 10 minutes, it wasn't the same. And I figured out why. Lavers and g units are so different, that as you use them they shape the insole differently(I used the same insoles for both shoes.) So it looks like I need to buy a new pair of insoles for my new shoes.

far (really) symple Dyno. I footed it every time I tried it. and I just barely got paradox whirl.

These shoes are worth checking out. you can get them on ebay for 40$, so if you have the money, do it.

I want some of these badboys so cuz I can represent 2.

Not to be stupid but I have a problem: I'm in Graz, Austria and I don't know how to buy shit around these parts. I'm really that new.

Has anyone in Europe purchased these shoes, and if so, where? Which franchise? I heard about NuR in Munich. Can anybody recommend a store or whatever?

Buying from the USA seems super slow, but I've never sent anything over here like that so I don't know how long that would take, or how much it would cost.

Any ideas? Please help because my shins are desperate for support and my inner gangsta is looking to pour a sip a OE800 on the concrete! Thanks,
-David

PS Yo, apparently some shoes come with a "limited edition" G-Unit money clip. 8) How gangsta would I be then? Kinda like the GHETTOFAB version finding that submarine toy in your POPs and shit and then you would put it water and watch it rise to the top.

Yeah so I go g-units today :) Can't play in them yet due to injury but I feel like a gansta and have been busting caps and shizzle. Actually I have hit some toe stalls, a clipper and a ps whirl with them and haven't dropped once yet - better than I can say about my lavers ;)

i really like my g-units a lot and don't wanna switch back to lavers again.
i think they are bulkier though and also mine got lots of wholes in the fabric and only consist of glue anymore. lol (also the toe box is a lot smaller, but i think that mainly goes for the small sizes)
what i really love about them is the cushioning. first i wasn't sure about that, because the cushioning isn't super great either, but after playing in lavers again, i noticed a big difference. my lavers felt like stones on my feet.

@david: alex and me both play in g-units. when are you coming to vienna again? didn't get a chance to play with you when you visited footbag-vienna once.
alex and i bought our g-units at footlocker in vienna. i got mine for 30€ and should have bought a second pair, now they don't stock them anymore. what about the footlocker in graz though? also you can get them in parndorf, this huge outlet centre in the burgenland (not far from vienna), in the reebok store (they had all sizes but mine). you can order g-units from ebay too.
i also can recommend spenco's cross training insoles. got them from ebay and they are great!

@verena: Hi ya! Checked out some of your shred videos and I'm so looking forward to playing with you. My wife and I will be in Vienna the 4 or 5 days before Weinachts (21st until the 26th). We'll be staying at a hotel in the 1st district. I hope that the Vienna crew will have sessions around the holidays because I will definitely want shred with you all some more. I had a really good time shredding with Alex and Ali even though my (just below the) knee (area) was hurt. The Pizza and beers with the crew afterwards was especially enjoyable.

I will check around for a Footlocker in Graz and hopefully they will have the G-units.

One more question: If I have to order from EBay (I assume you meant US EBAY) do you know how long it takes packages to get here from the US? I'm feeling like I need some instant gratification and 6-8 weeks of waiting feels like way too long to wait. I'll be an old man by then. Instead of Repetitive Stress Injury I'll have Osteoarthritus! 8)

Thanks again,
-David
