Kangas are not so good. Don't waste your money. Get Mr Sandmans, and once you're comfortable with them, read the New Footbags thread and posts other people have made about the quality 32 panel footbags they prefer, and choose the stitcher you want to make one just for you.

my first footbag was a kange. I still play with it to this day . . . occasionally. The only problem I see with it is its size. It is now considered a large bag as compared to the minis that are coming out in todays market. I think its a good bag to learn with though, as long as you get the facile kind. Its prolly more money than a Mr. Sandbag tho.

The kanga bag wasn't bad. It's definitely way to big for my current taste, but it was Brad Nelson's first footbag...and it brings back great memories

It broke in to be a pretty good bag considering it's not a handstitched 32 panel, only problem is if you don't like larger size bags, it becomes one. Buy one and take some pictures of it so the wv crew can rekindle some long lost memories...

Kangas are only about 10 each on ebay, Im pretty sure that at 1 point they were hand stitched and the one I got in like '97 seemed small at the time but who knows?

I resent the way Flying Clipper treats the current footbag market and wouldn't buy their bags ever. I leant a lot of habits I call "bad habits" from playing with sandbags so recommend against them but I think the best thing to do with footbags is to try out lots of different kinds and see which works best for you. Keep in mind that most of the top players the top official top 3 players in the world all use 32 panel hand stitched bags but don't let that stop you trying other stuff either.
