My G6's, heavily modded by the 15 yr-old Joe Kulacz himself. He had it laced up with a freakin's huge toe like a Climacool I think, but I like things a bit tighter so I laced it this way. My right shoe has a cool and different shoe lace that I took off from a pair of beach shorts. Works perfectly great right about now.
Joe definitely showed me the light, so I bought a pair of G6s a 1/2 a size smaller so that I can get that snug fit (anyway, being off-topic, I think the guy is 16 right about now?
Anyone know where I can get Spencos cross-training insoles online?

i finally modified my shoes, i cut the canvas out of the inside surface and the toe box and relaced em. it sure made a giant difference. im thinking about cutting the canvas out of the ouside surface but not sure if it will make a difference. here they are, they still look pretty normal too.

Yeah, cutting the canvas out of the outside helps too. Your feet will breathe even more, and the shoe will wrap your foot better. And of course it helps with dragons too. It makes the shoe just better all around really. No canvas is good canvas.
Awesome shoes by the way

i dont have problems with dragon even with canvas on the outside!and the breathing thing is another problem,i play in climas too,and they are supposed to be supperior in breathing stuff, but i sweat like a pig in the sauna!so...if u move and u strain yourself then u sweat and if u dont have a chance of getting the sweat fully out of the shoe u can have a clima control center in your shoe,it wont breath then!shredzilla wrote: And of course it helps with dragons too.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

I think it might not be the best idea to cut out the canvas on the outside surface of your shoe. I think our feet tend to press against the outside surface as we shred, so you need a little extra support there, and also, sometimes the foot can have a tendency to scrape the outside surface on the ground when doing blenders, swirls, etc, so it's nice having that material there for padding, or in case you break through the thin outer layer of mesh.
BRICK!

Does the permanent marker affect the grip of the mesh?
Does the ink bleed?
Does having black lavers make your feet sweat extra in the sun?
well, i no im not the only one with expierience in coloring white lavers black..but recently i colored my white n green lavers completley with large black sharpie and it looked good..for about 2 minuets until i realized im a dumb fuk..its not a good idea to color ur lavers..it WILL fade..it WILL bleed especially if its wet out etc..it looks bad all around really..just be happy wit ur white ones right now..buy black ones for the holiday/s that are coming up!

Thanks Ben for the link to Spencos insoles. I'll be sure to buy them ASAP.
Plus, my new Reebok G-units came in today, so you won't be hearing much of me anytime soon.
