I think it's safe to say everybody on this forum loves footbag. That is because this is forum for people who love footbag. If you didn't love footbag you wouldn't post here.

Of course with the exception of a particular Simpson's fan who I think just hates everything and everybody all the time.

the people dont know, what footbag is, how cool does footbag is! they just look and say: woah isnt that hacky sack? looks good!
but to play is another thing...

Footbag has recently saved me from boredom and lack of exercise while studying for finals. What an incredible sport, that I don't even have to leave my room and get such exhilaration and such a full workout. I played soccer for a long time and loved it, partly because it is so simple and pure unlike american football or baseball, but I must say through time I have come to realize that footbag is the ultimate sport of simplicity and purity. It's only typical of the commercialized sports/entertainment industry that the greatest sport known to mankind is virtually unpublicized and relatively unknown. Oh well, it just makes me very appreciative to have footbag in my life.

I love footbag SO darn much! Nothing in my life has ever had nearly the positive effect that footbag has had. It is astounding and overwhelming and moving and so very powerful while remaining fabulously simple. What a gift we have all been given! Rejoice!

Footbag is pure and complicated, light and powerful
raw and beautiful, full of joy and boundless .

I cant stop talking about it, especially to non footbagging friends.
I can barly stop thinking about it, at work, on the bus, before i fall asleep.
I write combo charts and new training schedules daily at work.
I spend more time on modified than i should
I wont stop playing ever. and dont give me the till u too old to move crap,
by then science will be advanced enough, plus this shits like kung fu anyway, keeps ya young and beautiful

I feel so grateful to be part of this, i'm so happy, that i've finally found
something that facinates me on all levels:

physical ( power, grace, exercise, precision, control, explosiveness...)
emotional ( passion, all the endorphins when u hit s.good, a move's feel..)
mental ( visualization abillities, dicipline, analytical thinking, creativity..)
social ( everything i liked doing, i did alone; now theres nice people to
share the exicitement with, meeting new people from all over ...)

all of these levels are found in different aspects of my world,
like in making music or in reading/writing or in martial arts
or whatever, but in freestyle footbag all these levels are incorparated in one joyful, limitless activity, that is one of mankinds most integral
attempts to shoot at perfection.

This may sound crazy and exegerated, but thats the way i feel.

I dont even wanna go about all the "higher states of conscious stuff",
that freestylin does to me, because talking about shredding with jesus
is against my religion...
Maby i should add, that i'm 27, working two jobs, having shitloads of stuff to do...i waited for the opportunity to play freestyle footbag properly since
4 years, thanx to Bjoern and my whole team, i can do so since september this year, and i feel like a fifteen year old in love .
Thanks to everybody involved, form old school legends to all noobs,
you have revolutionized my life.

i mean you can fuckin like do so much shit
like say your family goes goes on vacation or something - travels, all ud have to do is check journoies to tournies section and its 99% assured there will be ppl in the area that are willing to meet up for shred. I LOVE FOOTBAG.
and the people are just so nice and shit everyone is like connected as one man
etc.

I have met members of the opposite sex and dated them.....because of my ability to shred.

Not to mention the inumerable gains and benefits of keeping physically active while participating into one of the most creative sports in existence.....

What more can i say, it has changed my life.
