Holy shit... I need to get a ride. I so want to go to this jam, and it'll be a great time to go. Seeing that I missed out on Chris' Turkey Kick in NJ, I'll be sure to make up for it in Rochester. I'll see what I can do with a bus ride there. Its a 4-5 hour drive to Binghampton, so I'm pretty Rochester won't be too much of a hassle.

And if any case, I'll be sure to bring a sleeping bag. All I need is a free space on the floor indoors to rest up. Hope to see you there, Matt, and I'll be sure to show you the extramini that lesh sent me, if at any case he didn't give you one already. :P

Ah, Waylon, awesome! I hope you and some other NYFA folks can make it! I was just lying in bed not able to sleep and thinking about my jam, and making a list of people I still had to invite, and you were the first that I thought of! Sweet! Now I just have to get the ministry to come...

Awww man... The thought just occurred to me: I'll get to see Tom Mosher in action if I get to this jam!!! And getting a bag from him or Peng? Even sweeter! I'm so going! I'll be sure to let NYFA know about this event ASAP! 8)

Hehehe yes, you will get to see the LEGENDARY Tom Mosher in person. :P
If you ask nicely I bet you can get his signature.

Both Peng and I will be bringing a big pile of bags for selling, of course.

This sounds like a cool event and you have to get lots of footage. I hope the drums really amp up the entire vibe of the event and the shred gets insane. Even if its not insane im sure it will be insane fun :) I hear there may be a surprise Chicago shredder showing up!!

My stoke-o-meter is shooting up everyday.

I offered my sister an 1/8th of weed and a six-pack of beer for her husband to get use of the car for the trip.

Even if I can't get the car we will sort something out, rental maybe?

I am fucking PUMPED for this!!!

Aren't there like 900 local shredders matt?

You should get all the rochester jugglers to come too!!!!

start postering this ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Matt, post a list of who you think/know is coming to get us more pumped!

fuck yes!!!!!!!!! :D

This sounds like an amazing event. I'd just like to give some massive props out to you, Matt, for coming up with this. The shirt idea gave me chills! If you make this an annual deal this is something that would draw me out of my corner of the states once I'm able... Run with this idea!! The footage will be amazing!! Please, please, please someone with a good quality camera get ready to film this! :)

THIS IS THE DOPENESS.

Hey Everyone!! in just 5 weeks, we'll be getting together for a huge jam, I hope you're getting psyched! If you can make it, and you haven't posted yet, please do so! We'd love to hear from you!

Attendees:

Tom Mosher
Pengpeng Du

Pat Tallon
Paul Agostinelli
Chris Dean (who hasn't posted yet, but I'm sure he'll make it)
Mike Anello
Aric McIntosh
Greg Pestillo
Dan Cyr
Chris Miller (carpool with Pete! make him come!)
Flash Gordon Bevier
Josh Benham
John Brown
Ianek Regimbald

Waylon Lew

Possible:

Peter Bowler
Jorden Moir
Ben Adler
Peter Irish
Nate Pipenburg (NEEDS A RIDE!)
Zach Hoffa (NEEDS A RIDE!)
Chris Balch

There will also be a TON of local drummers, and hopefully some dancers. I'm going to invite the Rochester Contact Improv community to do some weird cooperative freestyle dance, if they're interested. I think it would be rad, and add to the vibe really well.

We're going to fill the space up with freestyle goodness and party our asses off!!!! I hope you're all ready, and I hope you rest up! See you all in 5 weeks!

OKAY, now I need to know who needs the hotel!!! I found a hotel that will charge us $55 a night if we need 10 rooms or more. Otherwise, it's $69 a night, still a good deal, considering it's only 1 night...

Also, I have the following people crashing at my house. Everyone should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and some kind of bed mat or something to sleep on, if you're going to be on the floor.

Tom Mosher
Peng
Willie
Josiah
Pat
Damn Skippy

I think that's just about all I can take, unless my housemates in the upstairs want to leave it open while they're gone, upon whence I can put more people on the couch. I'll ask them about it tonight.

Now, I'm going to start contacting sponsors! Already asked a few stitchers, we'll see what that yields... Next: Red Bull!

Once again, if you haven't posted, and you're coming, POST!
