Windows Movie editor :no vid:

I edited a video in windows movie editor, but now it won't play on anything else and I can't upload it to anything [like vimeo], despite the fact that vimeo recommended it to me to use (and it's all I have access to)

What can I do???

Make sure you've followed the link 'save to my computer' under the heading finish my movie. Sounds like your trying to open the project file. But if your opening a wmv, then you've stumped me. Hope i helped.

Did you export it as a wmv?

if you just saved the movie maker file that wont work. what is the extension of the file?

Do you get an error message? For some videos you need to encode it first with "Windows Media Encoder"
