Fletch fuckin threw down tonight boyzzzzz! Dang, everytime he shreds and I suggest trying something new, he gets so fucking close within the first few tries, and he busts it that very same session! I'll let Fletch explain what he hit tonight, but damn, for a guy without a clipper a month ago, now he's all up on that sheeit! If he ever goes to a tourney, he's going to make Emily and I look like good teachers

I hit butterfly>10 infinities
Blur a few times
Crispy Torque a few times
Torque once.. but it was sick.
some ok combos and runs with osi
PS mirage and almost flipside

Post by funklovesfootbag »

so full of sir lankan food. its the best food i think ive ever had.

So last session would be hard to top, but this one was close to as good i think.

did a whole bunch of inside stalls; they're getting almost as consistent as toes now.

hit crispy torque and blur a few times again, once really cleanly that i was happy with. tried ripwalk maybe 15X on my strongside came close once.

hit eggbeater for the first time! hit it twice total.

hit tap for the first time and flipside though not nearly as clean
and tapping pickup on my strongside also.

hit flipside drifter for the first time

worked on flipside stepping

hit some ok runs. 3 new tricks last session, 4 new tricks this session. sweet.

12.05.05 laundry room solo sesh

Post by funklovesfootbag »

played solo for maybe 40 minutes, i felt like my legs got reallllllly worked out this weekend and i couldnt move em quite how i wanted to. I kept playing anyways and drilled a lot of stuff, all the 2 add moves i can do pretty much, and did 30+ ss clipper attempts on each side; an attempt being each time i dropped the bag, so when i hit 6 or 7 clippers on the same side i counted that as one attempt. very good practice.

hit a few ok runs but nothing special and nothing new. practiced infinities and osi a little bit, and clipper>legover or pickup or mirage etc. also i noticed after i practiced the ss clippers on my flip side i tried a stepping set and it was perfect. very encouraging. just need more practice. oh, and hit an ok atomic set on my flip.

12.6.05 laundry room sesh with jeremy

Post by funklovesfootbag »

laundry room session with jeremy tonight. We played for a little less than 2 hours. I worked up a good sweat.

hit ripwalk first try but couldnt duplicate it.. it was sick though.
tried toe torque a lot both sides.. got real close. painfully close.
Atomic gyro clipper>mirage both sides
pixie clipper both sides (next session try bsos)
pixie osis strong side (next session try other side and bsos)
Tap BSOS (next session try tapping pickup and tapping legover.)

some good infinities, a few ok combos but nothing over 10 contacts i dont think. tried eggbeater and dlo to no avail, tried some other completely ridiculous stuff and drilled clipper>pickup or legover or mirage.

good session. hit new tricks and drilled old tricks.

NRFC session 12.09.05

Post by funklovesfootbag »

sick session. almost 3 hours. Dave, myself, chris, mark, and our friend tom. But, they only played for an hour, Dave and I were the only ones who kept playing.

Hit ripwalk 5 times sealed it twice.
hit blur twice, crispy torque twice
a few really good runs of 10+ with six 3 add moves thrown into the best one

toe>spinning toe
clipper>gyro mirage
footed drifter :(
hit two ducking mirages
some good infinities, 6-7 tops.
mirage>osis>mirage>osis
got real close to tapdown flipside, hit tap both sides and atomic gyro clipper

practiced flipside stepping (ugly as hell still.)

decided im going to really work my 2's while im back home practicing with dave and mark but can't stop practicing other stuff.. so i guess i'll just have to play more. 3 hour sessions every day? .. my shins will decide.

about two hours into the sesh me and dave decided to battle..
atw>atw>legover>atw>atw>legover i won
mirage>illusion>symp pixie>mirage>illusion symp pixie dave won, props.
uhh a few other things, then mirage>illusion>symp mirage and neither of us hit it though we tried for about a half hour. this tells me i need to get better. good practice on my illusions though.

Footbag makes me happy.

HB pier sesh with dave and chad

Post by funklovesfootbag »

Session at the Hermosa pier today with dave and big add Chad. Awesome session.

hit tapdown clean for the first time, atomsmasher for the first time, and ducking legover for the first time.

hit consecutive ATW out-to-in X30 on my strongside, X10 in-to-out
only X6 on my flipside (hmm..!)

ducking toe>legover>legover>ducking toe>footed spinning toe

hit some spinning toes, getting much more consistent on ducking toes

kinda sucked it up at stepping today but hit ripwalk and crispy torque

and some really long tiltless runs (15+ on my best one, wish i was counting!) then tried to hit 20 at the end of the sesh but only got to 12

played for 2 and a half hours, but an old school circle kicker joined us for about an hour so it was a four man circle for part of the time.

quick morning session (i say morning, but it was 1:30 pm... i slept in a bit.) with brett.

nothing special; realized my flip symp pixie and symp mirage are really weak, and illusions are also very weak on both sides.

hit a very clean strongside tapdown
and a good run of 2's.

12.15.05 night seshhh

Post by funklovesfootbag »

night session at mark's from 9 to 12. sick. played with dave brett and chris.

hit flip blur, flip crispy torque, and flip ripwalk for the first time. ripwalk bsos almost. (footed.)

im not sure what this is called, atomic farside legover? atomic set starting on my right foot and then legover with my right.

came close to atomic muted ss legover but my knee made a funny noise so i stopped.

had a really good run at the beginning of the session, definitely around 15 or more with 4 clipper variations mixed in. wish i could remember.

ducking pickup, tried zulu legover for the first time and footed it.

thats it i think. very fun session. within the next few weeks i want to hit ripwalk>ripwalk.

EDIT: Forgot, I also hit toe torque !

i think thats it... really really fun hour long session. :D

I missed that one when I read your post. :D Super job, Fletch. More drifters. I can't wait to see you show off when you get back into town.
