100 Meter Dash Mirage Race?

Post by ShredOnLawn »

I prefer other competition formats for footbag.
I think the Mirage Races would get the most attention from the public eye.
It would promote the sport much more and be challenging and fun.

I'd like to convince Stephan and Chris and Brad to let me host one on Saturday at the CSS#7.

But, would you actually be willing to pay an entrance fee when you know you'll probably get beaten by Loren Baum anyways?

That is the question.

I think I would, this kind of thing is fun. I've done infinity distance races a couple time. I think that's a little better than mirages because it uses both feet, could people do SS mirages in your mirage race? THAT would be cool.

I'd enter for sure, that would be fun. But like Matt says, I think it would have to be ss mirages just to even it out :D

The only thing is, for sanitys sake. Dont do it drunk, it would suck to see 2+ good shredders taken out in a drunken dash contest.

You're drunk right now crazylegs and that's the only reason you're mentioning it.

Hey, I'm the canadian mid-western mirage race champion. I think mirage races would be a great addition to any tournament. You could totally make an epic video of the race to chariots of fire.

GREAT!

Sounds like there could be several different races using different tricks.

I agree that one could make epic video's of the races.

Trials competitions would be great too but I can't think of how one would do that. Maybe just toe stalls up and down stairs or something. We wouldn't want injury.

I'm practicing 2-add tricks distance runs on my warmup pretty often... When I have enough place for it...
