There's definitely lots of skill there, but keeping in the theme of people posting random statistics in this thread, I think that footbag is 273% more fun to watch. Even if they added ducking and spinning, I thought it didn't have the same enjoyable rhythm as footbag.

I've also tried footbag with a soccer ball and it's damn hard... maybe I should have tried more toe stuff, because clipper is really challenging with a ball... Basically, I guess I'm trying to say that these guys still deserve alot of credit, even if footbag is 273% more exciting to watch.

That was definitely cool. However, there is no way that Palle is the best in the world. I've seen other video on the internet that makes Palle look like Me vs. Vasek. Anyone remember the video that Pete posted a while back, with the guy who kept the ball going for 5 minutes or so. He had a ridiculous amount of control beyond what I just saw.

I do wonder which came first though. In some ways you'd think that one must have influenced the other, however, to here the history of footbag moves, they just progressed through natural ingenuity from basic tricks. I think soccer freestyle probably progressed the same way and because they are both foot freestyle sports they led to many of the same style tricks. It's kind of cool that way. It sort of gives credence to the idea of Jung's collective unconscious. :D

the sitting down dude was named mr woo or something. sure he had great control but he was wayyyy less intense then Palle. Completely different style. I like Palle better he goes so huge compared to mr woo who does awesome tricks with superb control but not nearly as many dexes as Palle.

You think Pele could hit that crazy stuff? I bet he never even know these insane concepts ever existed. BUT, if he did he probably could do them with some practice haha.
