Felix's shred 30 at GFO 2005

he had one drop but the last blurrywhirl > ps whirl> spion whirl > scorpions tail > DOBLE SPINNING OSIS was insane and it looks too good.

I know mobile screens are tiny but what would be a good one to have. Anyone have any pre-made in .3gp format?

Cheers Evan. I suppose thats the best you can expect for a little screen. Probably not the best thing to use to introduce footbag to someone. Still thanks anyway.

I dunno what vid I would use to introduce footbag but I do know that most people cant possibly comprehend hard moves. You just need some video with good style and good music, insane shred would confuse as much as impress.

without a doubt, the segment to show is the slow section just before the final credits of b's best. with alex, vasek, and honza! i mean, the music inspires awe, the tricks are slowed down so that anyone can see what is going on. there is nothing better!

HONESTLY THERE IS NO VIDEO THAT IS PERFECT FOR SHOWING FOOTBAG TO PEOPLE. WE NEED TO MAKE ONE. THE SHORTER THE BETTER.

Representers (in one circle):
-Vasek
-Honza
-Ales
-Felix
-Jorden
-Jim
-Lon

Playing time:
-4.30

Backround music (that's a hard one):
-Ska-P - Mestizaje

Location:
-On a street (yeeah! Oldskul!!)

Scenario:
-Every player has one drop and passes it over. So each player has only one run. The passing is shown.

Slo-mo:
-Definately, but in a resonable amount...perhaps one for every player

Perhaps this can be done at Frankfurt 06...I will be there and so will my camera=)

i dont think that only the best players can introduce footbag to someone.
if you show the best moves only then if they see anyone kicking or doing just basic strings they won't be impressed that much.

i think we should show basic elements as well, like atws, ducks, spinnings and kicks (!), from different and good angles.

Agree, but it has to be done by the best players. Or else this is not a video to represent footbag.

footbaggers represent footbag. Not all footbaggers are the best.

I know its not exactly what the thread is about but I'll say it anyway, I don't think video is at all the best way to introduce ppl to footbag just because its too unintelligable for the uninitiated. The best intro is to get them to a shred that has ppl of a range of skill levels who all go get a beer afterwards. Like Max said "footbaggers represent footbag" and its prob best if it can be done in person. OK, that said...
If you're going to use video, I'd say Budda's Best if you think you can get them to watch for more than just a couple of mins. Otherwise most Vasek or Ryan routines have good variety. There must be some good footage of Ales out there worth being in this thread - maybe his section on Champ League? no one who see's him shred could say footbag's not a sport and he's not a sportsman, although if its more recent footage they may confuse footbaggers with bodybuilders.
