Nur Challenges

Post by dazza »

...you to challenge me.

The zest to shred has grown into this close to insatiable monster ---
i neeed your help and ideas to feed SHREDMANIA, i cant make it
on my own.

I play for a year now, tiltless and guiltless have about the same ratio
in a good run, and there might be some fours thrown in too.

My toes are still better then my clippers, though i put in some good work
into getting a more balanced game..
I love ducking,symposium, pixie, atomic and quantum - my steps and double
dexes are so so and my spins are in kindergarden, together with my BOPs.

Dlos, whirls and swirls need more attention .

Killing me softly is a terrible song, but a good slogan .

Mainly i need drills to make my guiltless runs longer and i really dig mixed combos
like butter>stepping legover>smear !

Any ideas ?

Ners to the rescue!

Fairy Legover b2b
run with 3 different 4's BS
Smear > Quantum ss Mirage BS, then rpt
Osis x10
Double Switchover b2b
Spinning Clipper BS

And with some work:
Rubberman

If you run out of ideas, this is a useful resource:
http://modified.ca/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=5159

I used to work on tricks from this list on every session, some time ago I finally hit all of them both sides - it's pretty good, but clipper oriented.

Thanks for your updates, Szymon - i'm very close to dim>blur rpt,
the rest of your suggestions are really challenging, so it will take a while to
complete them .

But what about some drills guys ? At the moment i work on stuff like
ss smear>butter>step legover, plo>tap or spinning clip>ducking clip rpt..

Anyone who wants to share his this-is-how-i-became-guiltless-drills with me ?

Thank you !

I love these challenges!

Post by busted »

I love the challenges on this page because they are right at my level! I've been making a study of how one gets to the guiltless stage and all these drills are excellent. I'm going to shred as many of them as I can today!

A few that I like:

Terrifice pixie warmup:
PLO (10x)

(great for pixie)
MAGELLEN->PLO repeat
MAGELLEN->DOUBLE SWITCH repeat
PIXIE MIRAGE repeat
MAGELLEN -> SMEAR repeat
DIMWALK-> PICKUP repeat

others I like are:
DIMWALK-> RIPWALK -> DLO repeat
PARKWALK->BLUR->DIMWALK->BLUR repeat

STEPPING BUTTERFLY-> RIPWALK repeat

OSIS->WHIRL repeat
DRIFTER->WHIRL repeat

PIXIE LEGOVER->DRIFTER->FAR LEGOVER repeat (2 add, but smooth)
PIXIE LEGOVER->DRIFTER->PICKUP->PLO repeat

That's what I'm thinking of right now.

correction:

PIXIE LEGOVER->DRIFTER->FAR LEGOVER repeat (2 add, but smooth)
PIXIE LEGOVER->DRIFTER->PICKUP->PLO repeat

should be:

PIXIE CLIPPER->DRIFTER->FAR LEGOVER repeat (2 add, but smooth)
PIXIE CLIPPER->DRIFTER->PICKUP->PLO repeat

I challenge you to do spinclip>duckingclip (ripiit)

..., nur, nicht mehr.

Considering the challenges you have hit already, you've come an impressively long way in the few months since I last saw you shred (which was the only time I saw you shred, now I come to think of it). Still, I think some body stuff would be sooo sweet for your game!

GO!

Which challenge are you referring to, Sir ?
Anyway, you are right, i could do with more dexless and also with more clipper moves, but i'm working on it - trust me :wink:

to all :more mixed drills, single moves and non drill combos, pleaze !

all the given challenges are a great source of inspiration,
even the ( temporarily !) impossible ones - keep it up :D !
