That was the most fun I've ever had watching a video. It was so suspenseful. You couldn't ask for a better competition, the last players were so perfect. Man this makes me want to come next year. I think I will....it's only a few hours flight from here.
I kept hoping that Lon and Jorden would just take eachother out when they got too close to one another. I figured their legs might hook on pdx whirls and leave the whole thing open ended.
That was increadibly entertaining, and Justin's MCing was very good template for anyone running a rippin event to a general audience. Rippin' should be adopted as a Worlds event.
The general contents of that vid would make a bitchin (junior) high school assembly show.
geez, some of those runs were so long and intense. One of Jims with spinning whirl>spinning whirl was awes and another from Jorden with janiwalker and stuff.
Started with sparse low lines, built intensity with rythmic variety, went to 16th note lines in high register, than went to octives, than block chords for my last chorus... If you understood that last sentance than you should be playing music and not checking the internet.
