I must be missing a couple of things.

Firtsly: Is this going to be like a documentury type deal like the one about Dogtown (before the movie) or is it going to be like a movie(like Lords of Dogtown) or somthing along those lines.

Secondly: i think it would be ok to show both sides of footbag. Like start out with just some circle kickers and then progress up, the the tricks get bigger and more difficult and then Like BAM some one just busts out freestyling and hittin all kinds of crazy stuff. I think it would be a cool way to show people who watch the movie how much more there is to footbag than people just in a circle kicking,

and come on....... whats with this stoner crap, I started out circle kicking, never smoked pot in my life, I started to get better. Then hey, I wanted to learn more. So I did exactly that, I googled it :D . Found footbag.org :D :D , started watching VIDEOS of some shred :D :D :D and was eventualy led here :D :D :D :D , now footbag is a major part of like who I am( ok... that was a little dramatic) but still true :D :D :D :D :D :D

But what i'm saying is like this movie wouldnt be a bad I dea, youd just have to like figure out how to make it appeal to people who maybe dont take it as serious ( when I say serious, Im not using it as a bad thing, actualy, more of a very good thing) as we do.

talk to the director and educate him/her on the culture of footbag.
Again, get real.
Geez, how did I not see this before now? Anyway, I can tell you, as the schmo who drove to Lafayette for a day to be in this silly show, those involved became curious about freestyle once I exposed them to my modest representation thereof, but they weren't anywhere close to reconfiguring their little production out of some respect for our pride. So I just bit the bullet and ran with the fact that they were happy to watch me play and I was getting free professional video footage of my shredding out of the deal.

A link to the trailer is up in the Videos thread.
My favorite trick is knowing when to pass.
