Yes, you can color your lavers with a sharpie. No, it will not affect anything technically, except maybe making your bag a little dirtier after a long session.
Yes, it will fade, duh. That's what it's supposed to do. That's how you get the sharpied look. Your lavers aren't supposed to look nice, man. Check out the lavers up close of any of your favorite players. They're all nasty, stinky, and generally many different colors. I really wouldn't worry about what they look like if I were you. In fact, try to make them look as trashy as you possibly can. That always seems to work well.

Oh, and just to be on topic, I am addicted to Honey Nut Cheerios.

Dude... I sharpied mine. They haven't faded yet, however, I did spray them with a coat of Krylon.

Sharpied and spraypainted lavers look hawt.

We've got nearly identical Lavers (save for what's actually drawn) -- red lavers, white laces, brocka, black sharpie stuff drawn on. bling!

get white lavers...take a red sharpie and paint them,let it dry...take a black sharpie and paint lovely stuff on it...spray stuff on it to make it last....that way u could even get psycadalic color lavers...but hell,wait for my new lavers,they should be in the mail the next few days...i post em when i´m done modding!

Red Lavers are the shit. Mine are old and encrusted after 2 years of shred, with leaking sharpie covering some parts of the shoe. I blame the storm that NY was hit over the summer to make my shoes all stinky and dirty. :/

i got 2 pairs this week,one leather and green and white and one mesh and blue and white...and totaly untouched and not modded,i cant just touch them right now...i need to drink myself some gutts on...or something like this...

Also, I decided to do some minor sharpie modding on my lavers today. Nothing too crazy, though. I still wear my lavers all over the place, so until I get a pair of new lavers I'm not gonna really attack these ones.
I'll post pics tonight or tomorrow.
