would anybody care to enlighten me on were to get armaretta suede? If its one of those secretive things like telling people how to stitch a good 32, could you pm me where to get it?

Haha my comment was mearly laughing with you on that secretive 32 panel technique analogy, I thought that was a funny comment. I have felt that way too before on this forum. I know amaretta comes from overseas, like germany or something. I don't know any more than that, but I also don't have a strong interest in the fabric right now. yea, just want to try it out to see if i ilke it more than facile or not. I think it would be funny to make a really good 32 tutorial, spilling all the secrets of 32 stitching, then make its a sticky for everybody to enjoy.

but i wont. I have intentions in selling sometime soon

I hear Toby has had a recent experimentation with Armaretta suede when he stitched and posted comments on the bag. You can try PMing him on where he got his stuff.

I think that was Nathan Pipenburg, I haven't tried it out yet. IMO ultrasuede isn't durable enough, i wouldn't like to use something even less durable.

Yeah, I have a little bit I've been trying out. As to where to get it, I don't know, because I got mine in a trade with Lesh. I think its only available in Europe, and very expensive. To make bags of this material really work, you have to sew differently and use smaller filler. As for durability, I don't REALLY know, but both my Lesh bag and bags I've made have held up well. I have played inside with my Lesh bag for over a month daily, and I dont treat it that great (toe ups, random stompings from symposiums, etc). It's doing fine.
