I used to keep a blog for all the players in Turku some time ago, but I quit.
People have been asking me lately why I don't keep a blog. Now I'll start to write a personal one.
Hurrah.

Everybody should know me already so I won't introduce myself anymore.

I don't usually post about new tricks or combos or some smaller videos on this forum. I will do so here from now on if there's something worth of telling. And all my videos can be found from my footbag.org account. The link can be found from my signature.
But I didn't plan this to be a 100% footbagblog. More like a story blog. I guess they are in fashion right now.

Oh - all kind of comments are allowed. Feel free to write here!

Have you guys ever seen anyone hit Alpine Marius both sides with consecutive tries?

Man, I'm so into filming at the moment. I started filming a kinda like introducing video of myself. So that anybody who hasn't seen me before knows my game after seeing the video. The filming is going to take some time, but it's gonna be explosive!
Some people have been asking me what takes so long with the vid - hold your horses. I stopped filming last week because I had to prepare myself for the Finnish nationals.

Oh man! Finnish Champs, that was a great trip. I was sixth on the routines. Played in hangover and lost only to all the BAP players. Hey yeah, I'm still planning on making that trick tip video. It should be ready in January. But now I have my hand full of this upcoming video I alreay started making.

w00t, I had only two hours of school today. Now I'm being nerdy at home. I'll head for the sports hall in a couple of hours and FILM, like I promised yesterday.
I think I'll have a long session today... mmm, footbag!

Yep, it's Friday and I'm just going to shred. I'm kinda broke

Kuopio sucked all me money last weekend.

Sooo, I was shredding and filming a short while ago. It didn't go anyhow like I planned.

I biked to the sports hall - there were a latin dance competition and other sports couldn't use the hall. FUCK!
So I came back home and went to the bike shelter in our yard, where I have filmed before. The floor is crappy and no room for camera. Really nice...

So I played just for about half an hour and filmed for like 10 minutes of the time.
But I promised to show you guys something, so I will. Let's see if I can manage to edit something this evening. At least tomorrow then.

Hey it's Friday! - Oh, I'm still broke... Well a friend of mine who is also pretty much cashless is coming over. We'll watch the war film "Rescue Private Ryan". His into war movies and it's coming tonight from the TV.

Oh well, I'll end this entry here and take a shower Stay tuned for the vid.

Man I had a so romant---- I mean -boring- evening yesterday.

We both had seen "Saving Private Ryan" before. My friend was complaining all the time how the Tiger-tanks had their cannon towers too much in the front. And the tank which shot Jackson (the sniper of the american squad) doesn't even exist. Etc.
But enough of that fubar.

I'm gonna slaughter my editing program, Windows Movie Maker. It crashes all the time even if I drop a clip on the clip board! FUCK!
I was thinking if it has something to do with the program that I capture videos. 'Cause I have an analogical video camera and the software is a bit weird. The footage comes out as mpg-files, but I think that it can be changed. Wonder if it would help.

So yeah, I got nothing to show you guys yet. Just because of these software difficulties. DAMN!

I'm gonna try once more...
Maybe if I recode all the clips first and then try to edit them. I'm gonna need some luck with even that. Keep your fingers up that the movie maker doesn't crash!

Ask Santa to bring you an Adobe Premiere...hmm...what's the latest? Some Adobe Premiere Pro version X.X... How do you get the footage to your computer? USB2.0 or FireWire?

For a better editing programme; http://www.avid.com/freedv/index.asp . I haven't tested it but I've heard it's good, though film making may feel a bit heavier than with Movie Maker. At least this one's free and I guess nothing can suck _more_ than Movie Maker, what?

movie-maker is okey. But it's not the best program to edit a shredvideo...I use Ulead Media Studio

Hurray! I pwned the Movie Maker! Knocked it out badly!

First I recoded all the clips I was going to use, then I quit all other applications on my comp. After that editing was even fun! Windows Movie Maker didn't crash even once!

I decided to start posting videos to my blog regurally. That would mean a whole series of blog videos...
And that's how Anz's BlodVids were descovered.

I was thinking of Nic Bathgate when playing that day. Lol, nothing personal. But he had asked me to hit fairy sets once. That's how that first run starts with that drill. I hope you like that Nic!

Also, those two single tricks are not clean, I know. I had planned to hit them on camera that day, but I was going to the sports hall and not the bike shelter on our backyard. It's slippery there and little space. So I can't hit much runs there.

Those bloody latin dance competitions at the sports hall will be over on Sunday. So next week I'll be able to film at the sports hall. That'll be awesome.

Footblog Video number 2 coming next week then!
I could take some comments of the first one first. If there is anything to comment.

Anyways, you should know by now that if Anssi can hit a trick, he can hit it both sides...or do you have any tricks you've only done with the other side, Anssi?
