I wanna make a dvd to hand out for free to promote Footbag

This event means alot to me cause its really the turning point where i took footbag as a serious sport so i want to do my part and give every person interested the oportunity to get info and some sweet vids to watch and show freinds

So for all you attending who make vids im looking in the direction of jorden, WV crew, Dan K., and others.

And if anyone else has a video they recorded and you feel it would be a great vid for a newb to see please link it to me and i will check it out. I really perfer vids that will include attending players so keep that in mind if possible.

Im sure this request will get plenty of support so i thank all contributers in advanced.

Well, If it goes on DVD, I'd think high quality footage should be put on it. Now, if you were willing to go the cheaper route, you could create some VCD's or something of that format so people could run them off their computer. The Cd's would be cheaper to buy, and creating them should be easier. I'd be willing to send some links of videos i've made onto them.

Now for DVD, like I said, higher quality. If someone would be willing to handle a camcorder during the NYJ, I could edit it, but I mainly want to kick, not be the video guy. If someone has a camcorder that handles DV-8, I have about 4 tapes that we could use. If not, I'll talk to my friend about letting me borrow the camcorder. Depending on what you want, I could make a promo video just from the NYJ for your promo DVD / or if you want, a promo for the VCD. Ideas, comments ?

Yeah i mean at nyj im the last person you will see with a camcorder but you will see me aproaching newbs and trying to sell the sport, i have turned other vids i have downloaded from modified onto dvd.

For example the Hakrfice vid with the back to back 69s, looks great on dvd and even better on my highdef widescreen display.

But i want permision to use someones video since i will be handing them out to the public, I mean i got a pretty good collection of them on my hard drive but i really perfer to get permision/recomedations of which videos to use.

So hurry up people hook a brother up, i need some vids.

The only reason im sounding pushy is that this was last minute idea and burning 50+ dvds is gonna take some time so im trying to get this together asap.

good idea to promote the sport further shawn - do u have a label maker or anything? that would be, something to make it look official as well as advertise .org and modified. Thus you get people to slip past the evil footbag.com monster and right to where the treasure layeth

Hey Shawn, I made a video with some CIC guys a while back. It was called The Mall Sessions. If you downloaded it onto your computer, you can use that if you want. If you don't have it, I can upload it again too. It features players that are attending the NYJ, so I thought you might like to use it.
