Off season

How much does the winter affect your game.

IMO its not the weather thats affected my game its the sickness. As soon as im not sick i think the winter will make me better since i have more time to school and focus on trick development to where in the summer i was always shredding with a group.

I miss my CIC homies but its been nice playing alone and working on areas of my game that i was to busy in the summer to do.

WTF is winter? I was wearing a t-shirt today in this 65 degree weather.

i hate winter around here because it is freezing! i have to wear jeans and like 4 layers every day and it sucks cuz i cant hack in school and my friends can never play good unless they r in shorts. This means that i basically only play by myself during the winter for the most part...until footbad club gets started after winter break :D

I don't shred for as long outside because it could kill your knees when you exert them alot in supe cold weather, I've heard... and that suck SO incredibly bad. I prolly play almost as much, since there are a good selection of indoor shred spots (if not already made, I'll make'em) in my area. However, there's sumthin SUPER cool about walking down the stree with your friends of whatever and one has to re-tie his show or sumthin so you whip out the bag hit a big crazy string and mybe a new trick (SO many of my tirkcs are hit that way for the first time) before you keep walking. Just filling EVERY niny, niny gap with some shred nomatter WHERE you are is awsome, and I love it. That's one of the main initial attractions of the sport, for me.

Winter seriously affects my game

Usually during lunch I would play outside. Now we're restricted to inside and there's always a crowd around

I can't go outside and shred, it's too cold

My garage is nasty

I don't have any big open spaces

Winter sucks :-(

You should add a "play more" option to the poll.

When winter comes around that means a month off of school which means I play even more. It also helps that I live in the desert, so I can play whenever and wherever.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Look for a gym membership, you could even check your local township rec centers for nights they open up for sports. I really think someone would be hard press to have absolutely no where to play in the winter time.

I play at my gym all the time, the areobics room is such a nice place to play it really feels like that wood surface absorbs alot of impact.

I don't get sick, and I have a good spot to play inside now. The only thing that really holds me back is that winter time is also school time, so I'm a lot busier with both schoolwork and the flute, so I basically have to hackrifice one of those whenever I want to shred. Oh well.

That can be dangerous. Your body gets on it's limits if you play when having a fever. You can easily get a heart infection or something else as serious.
Just a warning. But a little cold can get to a bad flu.

The thing is, I don't have a license yet :-(

I have tons of places to play! Just no way to get to and from there

I play half as much in winter, but that's only because I'm really busy with school and it takes a bit longer to go to a gym to practice than just to walk outside. It's all good though.

I used to play just as much. I haven't really had an indoor spot this season. We tried to go play at the local highschool today, and they kicked us out after like 20 minutes or so. We had to go play outside :(. it was about 35, and it was kinda windy so it felt colder. I'll getting a gym membership soon though :D :D

Winter kills my motivation a lot. I don't like shredding indoors, it can get musty. I have a love for the concrete I guess.

Basically winter is my off season.
