I think more player interviews in shred videos would be awesome. Andrew was filming some of Hackrifice for an anthology DVD we were planning, but scrapped the idea. It was so cool. I would love to watch, like, a reality-TV-esque footbag video. I made this topic forever ago too, but don't you think it would be awesome to, like, see a day in the life of Tom Mosher interspersed with shred???
I'm still anticipating Fred+Pierre's Footjam 04 documentary - they did a
lot of player interviews. Also Ellis, who did the footjam05 documentary, he
talked to a lot of people as well.
In my footjam05 production you have a bunch of silly player interviews.
I remember an interview video with sam and chris pinkus about the
origins of footbag, don't know if that's still online.

Yeah, I remember Sam's "History of Footbag" video -- that was great because Sam is so messed up and hilarious. I just think it would be really cool to, like, watch one of Jorden's videos and have someone interview him afterwards, asking, like, "You seemed pretty excited in that run where you hit whirring swirl beesauce -- were you working on that for a long time?" And jazz like that, yknow? Actually the example I thought of when I posted was of Byrin, probably because I've met Byrin and know that he's unbelievably nice and modest and amazing at footbag.
I liked the interviews on Unanim Works' videos, but I was thinking more like interviews of people I've known forever on the internet and are always posting videos anyway. Or something.

I'm actually doing TV Broadcasting and I plan on throwing together a footbag tv show. It's gonna be really cool. Not only to get interviews, but I can also use the lighting set at the school, for some really dramatically lit shred scenes.

I really liked the European interviews
Why do you play footbag?
[guy on tricycle] "I like it"
lmao. That's the best line I've ever heard. Then later in some other vid, some kid gives a whole long speech on it. They were both great answers, and his concluded with something along the lines of..."and it's fun, so I like it"
It think it's a very cool and positive addition to videos when it's kept short and relevant
