Thanks Allan. That rippin' run was sick, I think Lon went for 67 contacts, jim's dropless shred30, and jorden hitting whirr and torquescrew(?) in his. Intense stuff.

Thanks to everyone who put it together, I was really impressed with your ability to hold a fantastic footbag (and juggling) event. Props.

Thanks to Justin Dale for fitting me in his car over to the show, and sharing his knowledge of how to create a strong footbag scene.

Thanks to Evan Lovely for telling me back in July that I shouldn't miss this one. You were right dude!

My personal highlights included:

Hanging out in the west coast scene! It was so cool to meet so many of you in person for the first time, and to see people I already know somewhere other than the in the east. Footbag travel rocks!!

Rippin Run! I've never actually seen that done before, it's so much fun to watch! Lon vs. Jim vs. Jorden was epic! And Jim and Jorden went FOR-EV-ER at the show on saturday night. Plus that bluegrass band in the background was a nice touch

Shoes dont matter. But my g units won me big 3 and most rippen run. I guess they're the best shoe.

this festival was pretty amazing. i had a great time and thanks to everybody who helped organize, especially the brothers from different mothers who always go above and beyond for this festival.
the level of play at this festival was very very high. i video taped for a while and it was hard to choose which circle to get because they all had somebody in it film worthy. attendance this year was pretty large too.
some favorite moments at sjff4: daryl skunked us at a game of 4 square, there were 7 people playing i think including him and he won 15-0-0-0-0-0-0. nobody saw it coming until he was on game point and nobody had any points. playing 4 square with everybody was very enjoyable and i got to play with some very good people. the renegade show as a whole is always very amusing but this year the pp outdid themselves with their acting out of a song. nobody could stop laaughing. also jorden's bit in the renegade show was one of my favorites. the juggling games were fun to watch. the sick trick contest was really cool because it was a sick trick for the whole festival so both jugglers and footbaggers were competing. the public show this year was pretty good too, pete's bit was good as always. the "real life cartoon" guy was very very funny and i still don't know exactly why.
the festival was amazing but next year is going to be epic. next year we're hoping to get even more people and make it the biggest bestest festival yet

So, yeah, it was amazing. Obviously one shoe IS better than the other.
I can't believe Jim beat me 2 out of 3

I'll go like 500 contacts next year and keep going until I drop just to be sure I've made up for all my slopiness. I guess Jim's Run was like 10 times more "RIPPIN'" and He deserved to win. He's all skill. It's hard to beat him.

I'd like to come early next year and get my older sister(Aleta) and husband(Ken) to help with promotion or planning or something. They both majored in theatre arts and own a theatre company called Black Canvas Productions. I wonder if they'd be interested in joining forces?

I'd really like to have a mirage race next year. We could film a rake to the nearest food shop and then see who makes it back first. The first 3 to make it back get their food paid for.

I'll be back every year.

I really am trying to make a Seattle video...but my computer doesn't like me at all right now.

I have spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to remedy the situation, but nothing seems to have helped thus far.

I'll keep at it.

I know people want to see footage...and I want to show it. :/

My 120Gb Non-system Hard-drive failed. Well...was failing, then failed.

So strange that it would kill avi playback though. Such a weird situation.

The HD was under warranty, so = no problem. New Hard Drive tomorrow...will finish capturing footage, will create a short video.

I'm glad that my computer is "back to normal". I've been trying to fix it for about 1.5 months...so it's a nice way to start 2006.
