ARE U READY 2 RAAAAAAMBLE ?

Pt 1 : The preamble to bullcrap

Today i hit my dream move with ease and precision .
It literally was a dream becoming reality, this is one of my
top faves in this sport and the only one i can remember to
have hit in my dreams.

Its not a big trick, but that move intrigued me ever since i saw it
at todexon 6.

Since then, the conviction/goal to eventually hit that, became one of
your general childish reasons for playing footbag, it became my PS whirl,
my Mecca - the beauty one shyly desires from afar, hungering for the
experience/posession of that beauty, without understanding anything.

symple swirl !!!

I was so facinated with the motion and i was glad to have no one
around to talk to about it, just for saving the taste a bit longer...

nuff said.

Pt 2

But this wasnt the only good thing that happened today.
It all started yesterday, yearning for shred and crazy feelings.
I need more shred, i need to be able to get a dose every day
i feel like it, goddammit !

And thats usually difficult in winter -the weather is unkind,
to say the least, and dry places like gyms are pricy and hard to get to.

Of course we could all shred in the cave at Max' house, but everybody
is mad busy and this place is about ok (dry, soundsystem ), but far from ideal ( surface, space, accsessability).

Then it came to me - when i got the permission to use the race tracks
at school for footbag during the sunnier part of the year - but the
headmaster also said that i can use the gym in winter, as long there
is a sport teacher around - Yaaay, now i can live the Hania Mantra
and play every day :D :D :D !

Thats what i did today, and thats the way forward .
Good surface, lotsa space and a lot of beautiful girls being stoked on
atomsmashers and shit. It was a ruff session :)

Best Feel : symple swirl :D

Best Run : dimwalk>dlo>smear>butter>p mir >rake>rake

Most Annoying Combo : tap>atom>mirage>ta>atom

Best Combo : clip set drifter>osis

Random Stuff :

tap>datw
diving mirage>atomsmasher
clip set dlo bsos
dlo>butter>pmir>tap>smear>run
another atomic rake

Pixie Tap - four times, meh, but the other 6 where THE 4 sure :?

Thanks for the replies, guys :D !

I started this blog for different reasons ; first of all, its much easier to
track my progress here, our blog is humungus :D .
Sometimes i want to write my personal experiences in detail -
and i dont want to spam our blog with 2 pages of text how i
struggle with my flip dlo, or how contageous Lises happiness
was, when she hit voodoo at euros.

Thats touching, for one,but i can see how somebody, who is mainly
interested in munich shred news can get bored easily, when he
has to wade through the inexhaustible oceans of my ramblings.

Of course, this is the net, but my own space is my own space and
i can do whatever i want in ere ; if i wrote a poem or talked about
that i want my hair to look like Robert Plants in the early 70, i think
our crew blog shouldnt be that place.

This is the lab, the speakers corner and the archive of the becoming
what i can become and munich blog is vaguely like shred symposium and
journies to tourneys , it is our communal platform and messageboard.

And i will post in both blogs - sometimes about different topics,
sometimes from different angles. i'll make it up as i go along.

Oais gros, j'ai fait un autre torque aujourd'hui, j'aime bien le sensation,
quand on tourne comme ca ! Demain, je veux essayer hit une variation plus
dur, pdx torque ou pixie torque peut-etre ...

Outside session . Inspired by Lises bravery, i clad myself in many layers
of cloths and took it out side - it was a cripy cold magnificant winter day,
a lovely setting, dont get me wrong, but it took a while to get used to
the temperature ( -4 celcuis ? )
I tried to work on drifter, dlo and swirl again but i couldnt really feel those,
so i skooled osis, stepping, a little pixie and torques.
Butterfly>stepping osis both sides felt good, and i kept on hitting that
for a bit - unlike some months ago, where i mostly hit combos for the
sake of hitting them - not really considering any of the various practical
aspects. Now i skool combos like that :
1. hit a combo on both sides
2. then bsos
3. then repeat
4. repeat the combo starting from strong side
5. Increase contacts by a) doing as many repetitions as possible
b) adding more/harder elements
6. Use the combo midsting a lot
7. Dont forget about it

My stepping should be so much better - today it was extra dodgy,
cause of the cold, but it was good fun nonetheless ;
i was never sure what style of stepping pick up i hit on
what side, today i skooled all four variations :

stepping pick up and stepping ss pick up bs

stepping muted clip bs
and the aforementioed butter>stepping osis bs

Most Surprising Trick :flip ducking osis 1.try:D

Best combo ( woulda been even better, if it was 4 that car almost running me over ) : pixie clipper>pdx mir>rpt>butter>pdx mir>smear>ducking clip>aahhh !

Best Link : pixie clipper>torque

Almost Crying After Footing : double spinning clip/osis 8O

Today was interesting ; i really have problems lately to stick to any
kind of pattern or to any rational sequences of drills these days,
dunno why really .
Consecutive and alternating clippers used to be my
general warm up thing, then bops, then usually pixie -
but i just cant be fucked to spent so much time with clippers
at the moment, dont even get me started on kicking - i really admire
Max new rec of 400 something, but not only because the high number,
but mainly for that kind of patience .
I think i go for long tiltless runs for future warm ups, at least till i find
something better ( bops prolly...), and i try to make em as tricky
and as unique as possible . I kinda started that today and i had a
nice 23 contact run with some chill 3's thrown in aswell.

Then i was drilling driters with Max and Bea and bops with Nora ;
after one hour we tryed some runs and i was not doing well.
(but it did when Max and me had a lil' subway shred after the gym sesh)
towards the end, Max and me worked on butters once more
and although i only upped my old rec of 7 by one extra butter,
i did 5-7 almost every try, so hitting over ten will hopefully happen soon.
I'm also happy with my osis progress and since i can hit torque,
well sometimes that is, its pretty easy to motivate myself to drill them.

Today was a good day for "big"moves and a so-so day for runs -
the runs in the gym were either too short, repetitive or irgendwie
out of control, but i had some good ones in the underground station.

I just feel listing some four adds that i've hit today ( 4adds are my friends)

legbeater (" thank u for getting easier", to which the legbeater replied :
thanks for finally drilling me, you atomsmasher fixated bitch " !
it was fun to peel out of them jeans, just to show the highly confused
bystanders that legbeater>pdx mir>run i s the best way to wait for a train
...
ducking symp mirage - i love you long time :D

tripwalk - i gotta act like a man and make quantum my second atomic !

pixie tap - i got a nasty ego boost, when i saw my mates' reactions

smoke (again ; i know that i neglected you ) frst try since the last
time i hit that :)

pdx drifter ( easy as ...)and dimwalk>torque - stay with me !

Two things made this sesion so good for me : increase of confidence
considering combos, bops and all my kooler moves and that we
drilled downtime components and not only sets .

I love you and i love footshred.

Thanks Bro ! Where you at Euros this year in Wroclaw, cause i'm not sure,
if we met in person - but i will go to Poland spring/summer 2006 anyway,
hopefully i meet you there for a shred and chat :D .

And now to something completly different :

I know that i have have a chellenge thread and all, but i feel like
making a list of self set challenges here, that only deals with realistic
and hella important links and components that i badly need to get dialled,
if i wanna go anywhere with this footsack business.
From the bottom of my bottom, some of these long term goals would be :

dimwalk>blur rpt
atomsmasher>legbeater bs(>eventually blur  rpt)
sidewalk>pdx mirage and tapdown pdx mirage rpt
drifter>dlo>pixie clipper rpt

learn whirl and dial this shizzle, gggrrrr !
flail; eggbeater; barrage# and that damned paradon
better datws and the like on my flip
flip pixie ducking
flip swirls

10 osis
20 infinities
30 bops
consecutive ripwalks ( + side>rip rpt)
more dexless
100 legover

barraging- nuclear and reverse swirling set

all till summer, wish me luck

No and yes. As i stated before, i wont stop posting in our team blog -
i'm part of the team and i love our blog.
I opened up this one to talk about how i percieve all the various things
in my footbag experience in more detail, so i might post about one session
twice, comming from different angles, highlighting different holons for
different reasons.
ebo wrote: and symple swirl: mad stylee, but: far or ss?
so far, only same side  btw, do you have any tips for butterflyswirl ?

Jump very high. Set quick, plant VERY fast. The butterfly dex is in high air,
remember how you did your butterflies when you started learning them?
put a swirl in there and you have it.

Far symple swirl shouldn't be too hard for you. BTW it seems I do have
a Knorpelschaden, so the future is still dim. (walk)
