Good.

Quick update. Had a 2 hour kick, it went well. I hit my Sick 3 too.

- 59 contacts of Osis > Spinning Clipper
- PS Whirl > Spinning Clipper > rpt
- Fog > Dimwalk > Fog > Dimwalk > run with Spinning Whirl bs
- Fog > Smog bs
- Pdx DLO > Butterfly x 4
- Omelette x 3
- Osis x 95 (from yesterday's sesh)

At the end of the session, I hit Mobius, Pdx Torque, Tomahawk, Blurry Whirl, Spinning Whirl, PS Whirl, Blurriest, Scorpion's Tail, Fog, Pdx Blender and Witchdoctor all bs. Only weakside Blurriest and strongside Fog gave me troubles, and that was mostly due to fatique.

All that hugeness seems like it was soo long ago. I've been in one of life's ruts these days, feeling a bit down with some stress on the side, ya know? I've been kicking, still, but I haven't been able to do any of the things I was able to just last week. All the drills with crazy repeats = can't do anymore. My endurance is shot too.

Oh well. I'm keeping focused on the good things and kicking as I usually do.

Oh, and while I kick I've been getting back into weight lifting. After I get tired and need a breather for the legs, I just pick up my dumbells and start doing sets. Seems to be working fine thus far :)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaanywho, while most of everything that I have been working on is sketchy / not working properly, I have had some good come out of my sessions:

- Osis > Rev. Swirl x 6
- Stepping Clip > Stepping Osis x 2 bs
- Pixie ss Clip > Rev. Swirl > Pdx Torque bs
- Rev. Swirl > Little Apple bs
- Rev. Swirl > Gyro Barrage
- Pdx Torque > Pdx Drifter > Pdx Torque > Pdx oopsies missed the Drifter
- Goliath third attempt today (I was happy with that one :D )
- DLO > ss DLO x 3
- Surging Illusion bs (spotted the bag before dexing it with knee = CLEAN set 8) )

So the sessions have been pretty meh. Work is going by alright, though I need to start getting more sleep. Maybe that would help with my footbag degress.

Looking forward to the YMCA on Friday :)

Good session this evening :)

- must have been 100 contacts of Clippers, Osii, Spinning Clippers, Gyro Clippers, Spinning Osii and Gyro Osii during warm up 8O
- Spin Clip > Gyro Clip > Spin Clip > Gyro Clip > Spin Osis > Gyro Osis > Spin Osis > Gyro Osis > short run
- Blizzard > Omellete > Legbeater > Blizzard > Omellete > Legbeater > Rubberman 8)
- Pdx Whirl > Spinning Whirl > Pdx Whirl > Spinning Whirl (second time ever hitting it) > run with Whirl War 1

Also did a lot of drills involving stepping out of Osis, which went well. I'm not looking forward to work tomorrow, but I am looking forward to the weekend. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

Kevin, if you're reading this, I'm headin over to your place after worky :)

Kevin and I had a sweet session last night at the YMCA. Unfortunately Rory couldn't make it due to finals, but sooner or later he'll be dragged from the devil that is homework and studying.

- Goliath bs
- Pixie Stomping DLO
- Spinning Gyro Clipper bs (Like Spinning Osis but the spins are mostly uptime?)
- Atomic Torque bs
- Atomic Flux off the foot
- Atomic Osis > Blur x 2
- Rev. Swirl > Pdx Torque bsos 8O
- Smog > Atom Smasher x 2 (again, yay!)
- Smog x 4 on my weakside
- Mobius twice on each side in one string
- Spinning Whirl > Spinning Osis > Mobius midstring

Kevin also had some really good highlights, but I will let him post his acheivements. He's been having computer troubles, which explains why he hasn't been around.

Anywho, I also came really close to some bigger tricks. Hit Gyro Barroque and Kevin said it was a lot cleaner then how I normally do it. Spinning Mobius was close, and popped a Spinning Nuke set. Oh, Spiked Hammer > Pixie Ducking Whirl was close, but I was off balance when I ducked the pixie and the Whirl was just flung out there.

Kicking with Kevin brought my spirits up a lot (or maybe it was the Tim Bits we had prior), so cheers mate. Thanks for the spirit boost :)

I woke up early, and hadn't kicked all weekend, so my legs felt real fresh today. It was a good 3 hour session - I was hitting a lot of the links and drills that I wanted and everything felt pretty solid :).

- Fog > Dimwalk > Fog > Dimwalk > run > (otherside) Fog > Dimwalk > Fog
- Smog > Pixie ss DLO > Smog
- Toe Whirl > Fog > Toe Whirl > Fog
- Fog > Smog > Dimwalk > Fog > Smog
- Fog > Atom Smasher > Legbeater bs
- Tomahawk > Pdx Drifter bs
- Vortex > Void bs
- Pdx Whirl x 12 (record is 13 )
- Whirl > Pdx Whirl x 7
- Blurry Whirl > Spinning Butterfly x 2
- Gyro Whirl > Spinning Whirl > Gyro Whirl
- Drifter > ss Butterfly > Pdx Drifter > ss Butterfly x 2
- Pdx Whirl > Torque x 2
- Drifter > Torque x 2 (first attempt)
- Omellete x 4 (tied record)

A link that I really would like to hit is Fog > Skull Smasher. Had a few good attempts at it this afternoon, I just need a solid finish from the Fog.

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go :D

Good news, bad news time.

Good news:

I was playing swell this evening and hit some of my drills for more contacts than I had in the past two weeks. I also hit Stepping ss Osis x 5, and had Twirl > Spinning Clipper > rpt off of my foot. Fogs felt pretty good too.

Bad news:

Twisted my right knee on an awkward Fog attempt :( . It feels much better now after I stretched and showered, but at the time it hurt to even walk. :(

I may as well post my weekend shred adventures here, despite the fact that I'll be kicking tonight, because I don't know when I'll have the time or energy to update again. Christmas is coming and I'm morphing into a lazy, and yet at the same time, busy bastard  .

Friday Kevin and I kicked at the YMCA, even though Kevin was feeling under the weather. We kicked for about... hmm... between 1.5 and 2 hours. Saturday was a day off, but on Sunday I kicked with Rory at the YMCA and at his house (they closed mid-sesh, so we rushed to his place before we cooled down). Both were really fun, and some good stuffs was hit :)

~ Kick with Kevin on Friday ~

- Stepping ss Osis > Gyro Osis > Stepping ss Osis > Gyro Osis
- 14 unique 6 adds for shits and giggles (Maelstrom, Whirlwind, Whirlygig, Food Processor, Spinning Blender, Atomic Torque and Marius all on bs)
- Mobius > Twirl bs
- Twirl > Mobius bs
- Goliath again first attempt somehow 8O
- Strong Smog x 5

~ Kick with Rory on Sunday ~

- Fog > Dimwalk > Fog > Dimwalk > Fog > Dimwalk > Fog > Dimwalk 8O
- Fog > Atom Smasher > Legbeater > Fog (hit all links bs though)
- Blur > Skull Smasher (close on other side, but didn't try for it too hard)
- Pixie ss Drifter > Pdx Torque (ditto)
- Atomic Osis > Blur > Atomic Osis > Blur first attempt
- Goliath just for Rory :D
- +20 contact run with Backside Blur > Dimwalk bs, Spinning Whirl, Mobius and a weakside Pixie Paradon thrown in there

All in all, good times was had by all. I have to get up for work at 5 in the morning tomorrow, which sucks big time, but forunately I get to sleep in on Wednesday. Plus, I get all of next week off for holidays!! Yay!! And with pay, too!! YAYAYAYAYAAHKDFASDJGHadjkfk;dgh;ajfhdn;jasdhfj;asdhnfjk;ahsd;jkfhd;!!~

That's how happy I am about that :D

EDIT - Had, like, an hour and a half sesh tonight. My left calf is feeling really strained, as though I may be getting shin splints or something, and I'm thinking it's from all the DLOs I've been doing. Anywho, not much went down. I really felt like shredding with Jeremy M., Nate and Sam for some reason. That would be so epic!

Ok, sleepy time.

Oooh, I like comments! Thanks for posting Matt and Kevin x 2!

Today I wanted to see how my calf felt, and what started out to be a pretty 'meh' sesh turned into 8O. My calf hurt at first, but by the end there was no pain. I may take tomorrow off.

- Hatchet bs
- Orangutang bs
- weakside Whirl x 19
- strongside Whirl x 23
- Pdx Whirl x 12 again
- DLO > ss DLO x 3.5
- Blender x 4 off the foot
- Pdx Eggbeater > Butterfly x 4 off the foot
- Pdx Eggbeater > Butterfly > Pdx Eggbeater > Butterfly > Pdx DLO > Butterfly > Pdx DLO
- Smog > Pixie Whirl > Pdx DLO > Smog > Pixie Whirl > Pdx DLO off the foot
- Phoenix > Spiked Hammer > Phoenix 8O
- Gauntlet UNSEALED 8O  8O

Dude, this is insane!

EDIT: Love your avatar grant...haha, that had to have hurt.

Hey byrin, don't feel bad about twisting knees and such, recently, I've been twisting my ankle a lot, and I don't know why, from everything from blurs (about 3 times on blur) to a flurry attempt. I don't know why, but anyhow, your tricks/links are awesome
